[00:00:01] What if? Last episode, what if my dad talked about that him going to Vietnam? What if he went to Vietnam? I was thinking about that. A lot of athletes were going to war. They weren't getting a break. What if that guy who gave him the 1F
[00:00:33] wasn't a football fan? What if he was a fan of the Vietnam War? If he goes to the Vietnam War, that's a huge 1F. My whole life would be altered. Absolutely. What if my dad goes to... What if he stays in Arizona?
[00:01:05] I was already here in the world. What if that Indian girl decided to stay? Jelly? Jelly? I took my side here already. If he goes with the Indian girl, then I got an Indian mama? What if he just leaves you? That's why he didn't come back. What if?
[00:01:45] That's a huge 1F. Obviously your dad is better than that. What if he was one of those dads? My dad's dad left. Left. My dad's dad left. What if? Give me the theme music. I got my own 1F coach. Coach Bartholomew. Coach Rebaek. What if? What if?
[00:02:44] What if? Your dad came back. Your dad came back after one year. He's a strong man. What if your dad had left you? I wouldn't have had my same dad. He would have came back altered. Like most Vietnam vets. I can get this right.
[00:03:20] I had the choice to go to football or Vietnam. I was not born yet. I was born in 70. Two years after that. That was a good 1F moment. Let me get set up. That's the first time. What if? What if? What if? What if? What if?
[00:04:08] Shout out to the whatf. He's the genius. Let's go. Let's go. Class clown intro. First of all, he takes a lot of digs at the Cowboys. I asked him what's up with all the digs at the Cowboys. To his brother, his brother name Rick.
[00:04:48] The 9th episode with this Negro. He's got a brother named Rick. Shout out to the older or younger? He's not biologically. He's my brother. He's 6 months older. He's got a brother named Rick. He's got another brother named Rick. I don't get you all messed up.
[00:05:24] I'm not a Dallas Cowboy fan. I was glad when Tony Dorsett broke his toe. I remember that way back then. I was so happy. I was so happy. I remember that day when the Cowboys changed the light bulb. They don't.
[00:05:56] They talk about how good the old one was. Every year they say the same thing. Did you hear about the joke that Dack told his receivers? The Cowboys and Chick-fil-A manager have in common. Neither one shows up for work on Sunday. That's good.
[00:06:20] What do you say to a Dallas Cowboy in a suit? Will the defendant please rise? What do the Dallas Cowboys and Billy Graham have in common? They both can make $7000. They can make $7000. Jesus Christ! I thought you were like that.
[00:06:53] How do you keep a Dallas Cowboy out of your front yard? They never come in that way. You had a new segment about edible. Edible eats. We've seen it on our last two episodes with Father's Day. Where do you think you can find these dinners?
[00:07:17] Red beans and rice with neck bone. Where do I think I can find those? Red beans and rice with neck bones. Or red beans and rice with maybe some sauce. Do they have red beans and rice all day in?
[00:07:37] Do they have red beans and rice at the river view? I don't think so. You might not know this place, a taste of heaven cafe. They got good red beans and rice. Where is that at? Off of Moffat and House Fairy. Moffat and House Fairy.
[00:08:05] You can get a fried chicken, rice and gravy, green beans and dinner roll. Can I tell you another spot? Michigan Avenue Cafe. Which is on Martin Luther King Avenue. Right next to the fire station. Michigan Avenue Cafe.
[00:08:29] You can get fried chicken, rice and gravy, green beans and dinner roll. You can get your dad's meal. Michigan Avenue Cafe. They need to make the Mac, Boston and the Hesley. They should. Michigan Avenue Cafe, good food.
[00:08:53] If you go over there for lunch, you really gotta be careful because you eat just the food that you go to sleep behind. You don't want to work after that. Okay. What's your favorite food or recipe? Personal recipes, I have. I have taken cabbage.
[00:09:21] Boil a little bit, take sausage. Cut them up. up, drop them in there, some pepper. You can put whatever you wanna put in there. Put it back together. Roll it in foil, like a ball. Place the whole side down. Pause, put it under the grill.
[00:09:46] Smoke it for an hour, hour and a half. Okay. Cabbage and smoked cabbage and sausage and whatever else you wanna put in there. It busts open. Good. Nice. That's something I do, yes. That sounds good. I'll dice it up real good.
[00:10:02] Add onion, bell pepper, seasoning with olive oil. And then at the end, after it's cooked down for about 45 minutes, add some big golf shrimp in there. Okay. Your meal was a little bit more intricate than mine. I mean, yeah. Now I got other stuff. It's different, that's all.
[00:10:22] Do you do stir fry? Yes. You got stir fry dish? All the time. I did like, I'll tell you what I did last night. Broccoli, mushrooms, sweet potato, scallops, bell pepper and onion. I love any, that sounds good, but I don't do mushroom. Olive oil.
[00:10:40] I don't do mushroom. I love any basic stir fry. Chicken stir fry shrimp. I love that. In my post-divorce life, I'm doing mushrooms and scallops. Why? I didn't have them during my marriage, so I'm having them now. Why? Because I didn't have them during my marriage,
[00:10:58] so I'm having them now. Is there a reason you didn't? No, my spouse didn't eat them. Okay. So I just didn't cook them. Okay, wow. Interesting. How you can make that stuff interesting, dude? New segment. New segment, I like that. I like the likes.
[00:11:13] The only and off book club, I have to feel book club. So we are old book club now. Ring this classic. Yeah, book club. Listen, Walter Mosley's the devil in a blue dress. So that was my dad's favorite. So Denzel played the character? Denzel played the character,
[00:11:33] which I thought was interesting because I've read that book actually. And Walter Mosley's character, his name is Easy Rawlins. He's like, I thought in the book he's made out to be this big tough thug guy. But Denzel is not the perception of that character.
[00:11:52] Having read the book and then saw the movie, right? The book is way better. All the time, yeah. You always, yeah. And the movie is judged harshly too after you've read the book. Yes. I just thought that they should have got a different actor.
[00:12:09] So Denzel didn't do justice? I like a black Arnold Schwarzenegger. So he didn't bring what was in your mind? He didn't bring what was in the book to the screen. Easy was a very intense guy. I didn't think, I didn't like him.
[00:12:23] Who would you have gotten to play his part if you could come up with somebody? Ah, I'll talk. It's that guy he was in with his chest. Terry Crews? Yeah, Terry Crews. Somebody like that. Yeah. Are you familiar with Easy Rawlins? My wife reads a lot.
[00:12:43] She's in the audience. She's in the audience. Yeah, she's in the audience. Listen, let me tell y'all something. We're gonna start having audiences, like live audiences on our podcast too. Like they just listen in. That's just how popular we are, because this is how we rock.
[00:12:57] So look, before we move on from this. Yeah. Case in point, I'm a huge Hobbit fan. Like I was Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit. Dungeons and Dragons? Nah. No. But Hobbit, but I do Dungeons and Dragons. I stopped at Dungeons and Dragons.
[00:13:15] Right, but I read the book, right? I read all three books. I was enamored, bro. So when the movie came, they actually did a good job bringing what was in the book to this big screen. Right. For the most part. For the most part. For the most part.
[00:13:32] But just judge on the harshest scale when you read the book first. Right, exactly. And I'm not a big reader. I'm not a big reader, but she's a huge reader. I love to read. Can that be bad? No. Can you over read? I don't over read.
[00:13:50] That much I know. Some people say you think you can't read. I like to read. I like to read. And when you get to a good book and you get to that point, you're like, ooh, I'm ready. Do you think people can be hooked on fantasy books? Sure.
[00:14:04] Okay. Everybody's got their certain genre of books too. Yeah. Mary's Nerd Nugget Fun Facts. What's up? So during the last interview, we talked about quite a few names. And I just wanted to... I did a little research on some of those names
[00:14:20] because I really didn't know who he was talking about at first. The toughest hit, remember the guy who punched him? Right. Bob Brown, he played at Nebraska. Okay. Was a college football hall of famer. Right. NFL Hall of Famer. Played for the Eagles, Rams, Raiders
[00:14:36] and 1960s all-decade team at All Tackle. Wow. Also we talked about Carol Blajowski. I remember her name. The question was how does she compare to Kate and Clark? She backstories, she was the first female I ever saw play basketball. You? Me personally. Okay. 1975. Where was that at?
[00:14:58] Moncler State College. Wow. 1975. Where's Mon... This is a stupid question. Where's Moncler State College? Moncler, New Jersey. Okay. I don't know anything about... Actually it's in Upper Moncler, New Jersey. Okay. Like Cherry Hill? No, Cherry Hill's right at the bottom. Oh wow. Bottom of the state. Okay.
[00:15:15] Near Philly. Yeah. This is up near New York. Okay. Gotcha. So she plays... She's a Naismith Hall of Fame. Was the former president and GM of the New York Liberty. She was a member of... Wow, that's interesting. Trish was played at the WBL League. Vagely.
[00:15:32] Remember she said she played for the Minnesota team, Minnesota Phillies? Mm-hmm. Well Carol was the scoring leader in 1981. Okay. In the same league. Okay. Three time All-American. She was a member of that USA team but in 1980 we had to boycott. Boycott, right.
[00:15:49] So she didn't get to play in the Olympic team. Mm-hmm. But she led the team USA in scoring in 1977. Okay. And if you check out the video game NBA Jam... She's on it. She's on it as a cheat code. Wow. She was something special to watch man.
[00:16:05] Okay then. The guy Jimmy Ray who my dad said was the toughest player he ever played against. Right. Was the first black quarterback to win a national title in 1966 at Michigan State. Mm-hmm. Was an NFL coach in 36 years. 36 years. Wow. Bobby Bell, this is interesting. I didn't notice.
[00:16:26] He finished third in the Heisman voting as a defensive lineman. Okay. Third as a defensive lineman. Wow. National... He was hitting. He was hitting. National champion at Minnesota. So Minnesota's last national championship 1960. He was a national champion. Okay. 1969 player of the year, defensive player of the year
[00:16:47] and 1971 a Super Bowl champion with the Chiefs. Some big names. Man, shot to them. Big names. So they... So they kind of unsung heroes in six. I think. Yeah. Underrated too. I mean if you were just listening off if you weren't a football fan the average fan listening...
[00:17:04] Impressive numbers. You don't know who those people were. Stats are good. Right. That's impressive. Right. That's some good accolades. Wow. New segment, Pet Peas. Pet Peas. Here we go Pet Peas. Oh boy. Here's my back. Okay. Seeing people steal with face masks while driving
[00:17:23] and they are the only one in the car. Man, let's take that one. That don't make sense. That pisses me off. It don't make sense. I don't know why it pisses me off but just seeing them in there with the face masks all up
[00:17:37] and not a solace in the car. And the windows up. And the windows are up. And you know on the face mask let me tell you on the personal level when you put them face masks on if you don't watch it you kind of get dizzy
[00:17:48] because you can't hardly breathe. Right. Now you driving down Airport Boulevard now in a vehicle. With a face mask on. With a face mask on. You loud to get dizzy, get faint, you know? You know what I mean? And you know telling what happened now you got issues.
[00:18:04] COVID gonna be the last thing you got to worry about. Facts. Yeah. You trying to get dizzy, faint. Yeah so that is a pet pee. Alright. Blast in office and garbage music in public places or when you are deep in thought at the light.
[00:18:21] So you know what I don't like? I don't like the tag rattling. Like a boob. I don't like the tag rattling. Yeah. I don't like that. I don't like that either. If you have, like my FedEx guy now which is a shame.
[00:18:37] My FedEx delivery guy blasts gangster rap music. In the FedEx truck. I can hear him in my head. But it's great. Yeah. I can hear him. Wow. He all the way for the streets. I can hear him. FedEx is gangster now. He gangster now.
[00:18:51] But when you at the light, you know sometimes you just sit at the light you got your own peace. You know what I'm saying? You just sitting there, you know what I'm saying? It's crazy. And I said somebody come up and say, this is my fucking new home.
[00:19:05] Yeah. And that's the FedEx man. Yeah no that ain't the FedEx man. That's somebody. Oh wow. It's anybody. Wow. Everybody trying to be gangster. I just hate that. Yeah me. That's ignorance. Yeah. I think. Like I understand sometimes you like a lot
[00:19:23] like a song and you want to blast it. I get that sometimes. But if it's vulgar. They want, listen they want attention. That's why you do stuff. When you make noise it's because you want somebody to look at you. Right. So ultimately they want attention.
[00:19:38] So that's why they do that. So if you tell yourself that it might not piss you off as much. You know what I mean coach? Because yeah, it does me too. It gets to me too. This is going to be interesting. New segment. Another new segment. Embarrassing moments.
[00:19:52] You go first. No no no. No my. You ain't going to get me. I did it last time. Elise, what I'm about to say to you is what I did. You know that's cute. Captain O. I'm going to keep it to you.
[00:20:21] I'm going to keep it to you. I'm going to keep it to you. All right go ahead. You go first man. I was coming across the parking lot and there were about three young ladies fairly attractive I guess.
[00:20:35] And you know I just wasn't like I was trying to stunt or anything. Right. But I was just trying to walk with confidence past them. Right. And I tripped and fell up the steps. Oh my goodness. I can hear them laughing. I was like damn. Style points gone.
[00:20:57] Gone. Cool points gone. Oh man. Let me see what my embossed. All right listen, I think I gave mine a what? A weight. When I told you about my high school. That ain't embarrassing. What did you think that was embarrassing? Well no. When you embarrassed?
[00:21:14] No, no I got in trouble. It's okay embarrassing let me say this because I gotta give it you just gave me one pause. All right so my most embarrassing, one of my most embarrassing moments. I was at the light one time and like you not trying to stunt
[00:21:31] and I had a dug a booger out of my nose. And the lady next to me saw and I knew she saw it. Was she digging for gold? Like no. It was just a rounder one you know she just cut the whole act.
[00:21:58] You know I didn't go deep. I did was a surface one. Okay one deep. Right. But she saw the action. Okay. Yeah that was embarrassing. Wow. Yeah. Now that was embarrassing. All right. Do you have a booger wall on another note? I had this conversation. A booger wall.
[00:22:17] Like a place where you put boogers? Wait man. Like in your car, bottom of your car or something like that. No man I don't have no booger wall. That's crazy. All right listen. All right my name is Sports. This is Talks Sports right quick.
[00:22:42] NBA champion shout out man to the Boston Celtics. Do I call it? I picked I didn't pick them. You picked them out the gate. I picked them out the gate. Well no I didn't want to be in a non Celtic family.
[00:22:55] I think the initial question was we asked because you said who did you want to win or who did you think was going to win that's what you said. Right. You said you wanted. Boston was going to win but I wanted Dallas to win. Right.
[00:23:07] So same thing you picked but you was honest. I think honestly I'm gonna be honest I picked Dallas. I had picked Dallas. I thought because of the combination of Luca and Kyrie you know I thought they were good. I did not Pozingis. I did not.
[00:23:26] You didn't count Pozingis. Factor in Pozingis. You didn't factor in Pozingis. Which he only gave them two good games. And here's the factor though. And they counted though. Here's the factor in order for Dallas to have won Kyrie
[00:23:37] and Luca had to have been equally as effective in all the games. Yeah. And the first two games Kyrie was not. At all. At all. Drew Holiday clamped them down. Right.
[00:23:49] So and then that let me see I think it was a third game that Kyrie was so so. Right. So you had three basically two and a half games where Kyrie was not Kyrie. And once he started balling it was too late.
[00:24:01] Was it Luca in one game also. Right. They can't win that way. Once Kyrie started balling it was too late. He started balling. They're not deep enough to win without those two stars balling out. So for Boston you know what? Shout out to Tatum. I'm the man. Yeah.
[00:24:15] I'm the two of them. I'm Brad for Tatum. I am too. I want to bring up a mama right crew. Since you brought it up. I saw just an inside note little story right quick back story.
[00:24:24] Jason Tatum in the post game interview he had his son with him. And they was like why are you so grateful for this championship. He was like when I want to tell you something he said my son has been being
[00:24:33] bullied by his friends because they tell his friends oh your dad always your dad can never win a championship. Oh your dad always get that but he's a loser. Your dad is a loser. So he said that's why they took the photo which probably going to make
[00:24:46] the front page of a lot of stuff even sports illustrated of him holding Deuce up his son Deuce Jason Tatum. I didn't know that. Yeah because he had been being bullied by his friends at school. Yeah so even on that level bullying has taken place. Wow.
[00:25:00] But redemption took place for that's just an inside story for Jason Tatum. And it's done. This is interesting you know if you're a child of a famous at current famous athlete the things that you would have to deal with right jealousy envy envy and
[00:25:18] that's what it's based on. Yeah yeah so for him for little deuce to be being bullied like that right and think about something the school he goes to has to be prestigious so the kids parents got to be reputable. You remember that cartoon they showed the little kid
[00:25:35] acting a fool towards another little kid but then it showed the parents tongue. And through the kids head right right right right good point good point yeah but shout out to the NBA champion. Shout it out Celtics man. One more new segment. All right WNBA news.
[00:25:49] Hotty up and the hotty of the week. No we were talking about her. Yes. Now did she messa near who messed in the up. So Cameron Brink tore ACL. Okay Cameron Brink tore ACL. She's done for the season. Okay she's a hot it.
[00:26:02] She was the number two pick no other hotty is Kyrie Gondra. Zick say that again. Gondra Zick. Kays Kyrie Gondra. Zick she's the hotty of the week. You got to try to say her name sexy Gondra. Gondra Zick. How you say that sexy.
[00:26:19] You can if she's a hotty you got to say Gondra. So how like if you were in the back. Zicky. You missed out. That's not sexy. Zed you had to say her name sexy. I bet she says it's sexy. Yeah but Gondra.
[00:26:35] Kyrie how do you pronounce your name. Tell her call us a show tell us how you pronounce your name. Yeah yeah how about us. Alright Cameron Brink we said she tore her knee. The FIFA won last night four in a row. Is it four in a row.
[00:26:46] Four in a row. Last night was four in a row. Okay all right four in a row. Wow. Angel Reese seven straight double doubles. She ballin bro. She ballin now. She ballin. She got a whole line. Hey man. So somebody. And I know you ain't gonna like this.
[00:26:58] Oh my goodness. So there was a team one of the WMEA teams that can I think which one pardon me for it but you may think of it. They're the first team to sell out all of their games. The fever.
[00:27:11] No if somebody else they mentioned and I'm gonna say I'm gonna make a point. It was another team because somebody came in the comments and one of the players or the coach has said see there's not one of these players on his name is Caitlyn Clark and they
[00:27:24] sold out all their you know the season. Oh that being true. Which team is that. I can't remember but it was a team and they made the comment. They were like see none of their names is Caitlyn Clark. The attendance is all over the yo.
[00:27:33] I thought she was the only one that could sell out it you know. I know that she could get over it. It's all new everybody'll get over it. Everybody'll get over it you know. She still the top league of it. I think so. Hey I ain't got.
[00:27:45] Whether you like or not. I watched her game last night with a by unbiased eye. Right. She can play. Right. I mean she can ball. She can play she can pass. I love the way she passes. Right. Love the way she passes. I like her bounce pass.
[00:27:59] Her passes when she could have three more assists last night if her teammates would have caught the ball and laid it up. This is Coach is pro Caitlyn Clark. I like her game. I don't want y'all to know that. I like her game.
[00:28:11] Yes there y'all just telling y'all you feel it. People can hate her and all she wants. She's a topic of discussion. I like her game. Yeah she's riding away with like she's here. Other sports shout out to the Birmingham Barons on their UFL champion. UFL champion.
[00:28:23] Yeah Birmingham Barons. Wow. Now tell you what. Let me say this because I've been following them. We follow them. They struggled the last three or four games. They did. They did. When they first when they took their first loss I think it was to uh big Phillips.
[00:28:38] Barons Phillips son Wade Phillips. Wade Phillips. It's not their first loss to him. The Houston team. Houston team. First loss I saw they take their first eight right. Right but that was to a uh uh a Hall of Fame to me Hall of Fame coach.
[00:28:51] Shout out to Wade. I like Wade Phillips. Oh great coach. I thought he was good in the NFL. I loved him in the NFL too. Right right so it was a good addition for the UFL. His dad was legendary as well. Man Barons Phillips is crazy.
[00:29:02] Barons Phillips is a good coach though. He was but he he's the only coach I know would knock the hell out of you. But that was old school though. That was he was old school. Barons Phillips was old school. Yeah he's tough.
[00:29:13] Yeah yeah so shout out to the UFL champion. Birmingham Barons. What's your think uh you think that league gonna go? I think the oh yeah this is gonna go because the viewership was up so sponsors are
[00:29:24] gonna want to get into so next year so that TV's gonna keep it and you know. And we're competitive too. Yeah good players. I like it dude. It was good football. It's a good uh between her but yes for the offseason. Absolutely. It's a really good.
[00:29:38] I enjoyed it. It keeps you afloat. I enjoyed it. Willie Mays. Man shout out to Willie Mays man. Legends shout out to Willie Mays. Major League Baseball should take his iconic catch and make it the logo. I agree for Major League Baseball. I agree.
[00:29:53] That should be the logo. He was good. I agree. One of the best ever. One of the best. Alabama born and bred. Born and bred in Alabama. And Bama. Wow. Shout out bro you know we gotta shout out to Willie Mays.
[00:30:05] You know us they put the uh Negro League records in the Major League Baseball now. Okay so now all the Negro League records are they count. Let me ask you this uh in that same vein you said what if he became the the major league baseball logo. Right.
[00:30:19] Let me ask you this on the NBA logo. Right. If you had to replace the NBA logo. Jordan. Who would you put? Jordan. You didn't even let me get it out. I mean from forget the basketball standpoint what's the NBA about. You're right. Making that making that paper.
[00:30:37] Right. What logo would make as much paper bring to the table as Jordan's logo. No one else's. No one else's. What other basketball player has a logo. Right I'm trying to think now. That's the fight into my hair who has a logo. No one. Did Kobe have one?
[00:30:53] No one. I wish he had the black mama but that's. No but it wasn't a logo. It was what I'm saying. He had the mamba logo. Was it a mamba? Yeah. Yeah. Snake. It was it was a black mamba. Yeah he had the mamba logo.
[00:31:03] Yeah that wouldn't be a logo for him. But that would be for him. That's not appropriate. Right. The Bron got a logo. Yes he has the L. But that's not appropriate. But that's personal. Jordan is the only one got a logo that could be that could take West.
[00:31:16] Take the way to the way of Jerry West logo because that's who's on it now. If you're the NBA if you're the NBA commissioner. And your job is to make money. You got a chance to use Jordan's logo for the NBA. Yeah he talked about that.
[00:31:30] You do it. Because they were saying possibly switching. You do it. You do it. You think they should. Why not. That'd be lit. Lit. Wow. Everybody else is wearing the Jordan logo. Why not. Wow. That would be fine. I'm glad you brought that up bro.
[00:31:42] That was the given one right there. All right well we got a new segment. I get y'all new segment like every time we get new. I love new segments. All right. All right. A martini straight up. Basically discussing Loda and Mobile Bay Gulf Coast lifestyle. Okay Loda. Lower.
[00:32:00] Lower Dolphin Street downtown. I never knew that's what Loda meant. So that you you said your time to pump up the sky view. Loda stands for lower Dolphin. Yeah oh you didn't know that. I did not know that. Oh man. And you're a local too. L-O-D-A lower Dolphin.
[00:32:19] Lower Dolphin. Wow. So Loda Beer Garden. Lower Dolphin. Dude. I never knew that bro. Give me. No no you get the one more. Shout out to Loda Beer Garden. Shout out to Loda Beer Garden. I get the one more for that Lola. But I didn't know that.
[00:32:38] Yeah Loda stands for lower Dolphin. Wow. I was today years old when I learned that y'all. And the Mobile Bay lifestyle so I mean just talk about anything. What if you had. What's going on with the sky view or anything. Right. Sky view lounge.

[00:33:06] The other ones too was the sweet and spicy sweet and sour sweet. I didn't eat them. Yeah but they were good. They were good though. Yeah yeah. I saw booms and all the trays.
[00:33:16] Holly P. your papa's man just pulled up on the Friday night you know Thursday night. And then they got game night on Wednesday night y'all. They got game night on Wednesday night which you need that chess you put the chest. Come here check me somebody.
[00:33:28] You need to come up down. Listen y'all coach he coached with the chess too on and off the field I told y'all. That's gotta be we gotta put that segment in there. Chess. I gotta talk about all the times I beat John and Chess. Uh oh.
[00:33:39] That's what I need to put on there. No it's a lot of John. You want to say his last name. John Taylor. John. Oh man. They call him. They call him. They call him. Tank John. Shout out to John. You used to teach me in chess. No.
[00:33:49] Now the student is becoming a master. Right that's how it is. We talking here everyone. Who won I wonder who won the last two games. Me? Did you. Listen let me ask you this.
[00:33:58] What if you had a free coupon to eat and drink any way I'm mobile for a dinner. Where you going? Where you gonna go? If it's free I'm going to Ruth Chris. Ruth's Chris. Okay. Me if it's free I'm going.
[00:34:10] Although I'm not eating meat though so I gotta change that hold on. But that's to the side. Okay all right all right. Because it's fun it's a universal question. All right. Ruth Chris. Ruth Chris. If it's me and it's free I'm gonna go to man I'm so picky.
[00:34:23] You know what I'm going to my spot down here. Right here at the corner of Shillinger and Airport. Not the red but the other one. We go. Brickettes. Brickettes? Yes. You like briquettes? I love briquettes. They got a great black and blue salad.
[00:34:45] Or can I have an honor for me? Absolutely. Jason's Deli. Nice. Not Jason Deli. The beer. What's the name of that? That's it. What's the place next to Jason's Deli? We go there too as a rest of mine. I'm just BJs. BJs. BJs. BJs. Oh BJs.
[00:35:06] BJs on the service for my airport Boulevard bro. I had their Jumbalaya. Yeah. The last time I was at a Jumbalaya pasta I think it was. Spicy. So you're doing seafood? Yeah I only eat seafood now. Seafood. I only eat seafood, vegetables, fruits, nuts. Okay.
[00:35:26] I just don't eat meat. Paws on the nuts. I know you mean healthy nuts. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Almonds. Yeah. Almonds. Got you. Pumpkin seeds. I got another new segment. Go ahead. Quote of the day. Quote of the day. Nothing is permanent in life except for change.
[00:35:42] Stephen Marley said that right? From the song Now I Know. Now I Know. Have you ever heard that? No I haven't. Dude, I'm gonna put that on your list. Is he what type of artist? R&B what? You know that's Bob Marley's son. Bob Marley's son. Okay.
[00:35:55] He's playing the guitar. Never knew that. Look that guitar right you got right there. Right. It's Bob is Stephen Marley. That's why I picked it because you wanted to play that. Wow. Yeah. You need to check it out. Listen y'all I'm coming.
[00:36:07] This is a overcoming lyric that says I thought was interesting though if you could apply as a quote. Right. Because nothing is permanent. If you think about nothing is permanent in life except change. That's heavy. It is. That's very that's a very heavy statement.
[00:36:23] People that do well in life adapt to change very well. Say that again. People who do well in life adapt to change very well. That's why you choose. Because you got to think about you have to you go through change and it's going to happen.
[00:36:37] Those who resist it will get left behind. Think about it. Round back one more time. Let me give you an example. Round what you just said back one more time please. Well change is going to happen and so when you resist change
[00:36:51] you get left behind because compared to other people that adapt to new change here there will be fine creative ways to adapt to the new new if you will. You can't be lazy and be successful. No mentally or physically.
[00:37:04] No no you got to create you got to be able to create activity and generate activity to to make something happen. Laziness is the main ingredient to failure. Oh yeah yeah yeah that's good right there. 90 day challenge update. I'm three weeks into no meat.
[00:37:21] Wow yeah how you doing? I'm all right actually. I haven't really craved it at all yet but I say that to say for anyone else who is still listening right and they need to do something
[00:37:35] you're still in the fence about I want to start something I want to try this I'm going to do that. One day challenge just start start now just start today do something that you've been putting off right get it done today. That's good do something today.
[00:37:50] That's a good challenge yeah gotta ask you this real quick. Yeah. Andre 3000 shout out to him he went vegan for like years okay 12 years yep and so afterwards they asked him what the experience was like and one of the things he said he
[00:38:04] went through a phase where he was very irritable like just you know different phases very irritable. Especially if you have been eating a lot of meat prior to right starting this. What's it like with you what's your fine difference?
[00:38:17] I have no issues at all actually I don't I didn't eat a lot of meat anyway maybe once a week. So it wasn't that hard it wasn't that hard okay for me. That goes until I would another new segment health exercise and nutrition I'm big on that
[00:38:31] we both big on that man I'm I'm give let me let me drop this nugget right quick. Yeah. Finish start on Tuesdays and Thursdays on Facebook live at 6 a.m.
[00:38:40] We'll be doing abs abs and more abs with your boy Mr. You Better Live YBF Fitness coming to you. So you know go to my You Better Live page subscribe follow me. We're making VHS tapes for you.
[00:38:52] Yeah yeah so we're gonna be doing some abs on Tuesdays and Thursday mornings man that's gonna be my ab days the other days I do calisthenics full body calisthenics matter of fact I can I can say this without taking credit for it that I was
[00:39:06] inspirational to coach that's right starting to work out and yeah and a few other people my wife too she I'm inspirational to her too she she wants to start by working out so health exercising nutrition let's discuss the importance of strict man this is stretching
[00:39:20] and pondering this Facebook question do you need a gym buddy to hold you accountable and or to motivate you this is loaded and it's gonna take a few minutes yeah I'm glad you gave
[00:39:29] this one to me because I got a lot to say about this yes I do I have a lot to say about this and I got a few bones to pick with the people let's go let's go go yeah you like no you're the
[00:39:40] Brian Dawkins the podcast and the Wolverine right yeah look so uh there's importance of stretching we can stop right there you stress to me you stressed to me the importance of stretching that's funny how stressed and stretching pun intended of stretching as well as exercising
[00:40:01] because one would think that when you're trying to get in shape and you're going on this uh health kick or this health adventure that you want to work out work out work out work out the
[00:40:12] more you get in the better you like no Rick you got to take days off that your body rest and then stretch right you've even told me that you had correct me from wrong that you stretched
[00:40:22] upwards of 30 minutes what's the longest you've stretched oh hour an hour an hour one hour or more just stretching yeah easy so that's how important stretching oh absolutely to you too
[00:40:33] you know you think of your muscles as if you take your fingers and kind of clap and inter interlock them if you were to take them like that and just really pull try and pull your hands apart
[00:40:45] from each other right you will feel the pressure on your fingers and knuckles right well that's your muscle fibers when you exercise wow and the more you do that the tighter the pull is okay and so
[00:40:58] that's when you feel that tightness right and so in order and what happens when those fibers pull and get tight they stay stuck that way right you ever notice when you like get a good good
[00:41:09] workout and you and you feel your muscles like almost like in a same position that you were in the right exercise right right because your muscles are still hope fibers are still holding that
[00:41:20] position wow so you have to stretch them out afterwards in order to kind of give them a chance to heal and when you when those muscle fibers are pulled apart it kind of gives a it's like a pulling sensation so you want to heal your your muscle
[00:41:37] right so give it a chance to stretch it out and put in and then it'll ease your muscle fibers right to his normal position now that and that's that makes sense so so I gotta I gotta take
[00:41:48] a dig at coach all so I've been focusing lately on pull-ups and dips especially not only pull-ups and dips are weighted I got a weighted vest kind of elevating it and it's working I'm
[00:41:58] doing my pull-up reps through the roof without the weight of it and you yourself so I was telling you that I said man I said one day we was recording I said man I feel like a rubber band
[00:42:09] he's like hey Nick wrote you need to stretch and I've cracked up last right about that right so now I didn't coach probably like a couple days after that in his pull-up journey he came
[00:42:19] told me one day I did three pull-ups I did six now you're six now right so he comes to so we come to record one one morning right he's sitting down in the chair he said man my body
[00:42:30] feel like a rubber band I said you need to stretch but in another one so he understood now so in the calisthenics when you're doing pull-ups and dips especially I'm doing push-ups you and weighty
[00:42:41] it hits your muscles harder yeah so I definitely need to stretch yeah you definitely need to stretch yeah it's almost if you want maximum effort out of your workout stretch you've got to stretch and give your body a chance to recover what's the average time you need to
[00:42:58] stretch before and after workout just average I mean I when I wake up I start stretching in the shower and before as I go to the start my workout maybe 10 minutes before my workout maybe five or 10
[00:43:12] minutes right after your workout okay if on your off day though you want to get like a good deep stretch almost like a yoga session yeah yes yeah okay all right stretching meditation yeah okay
[00:43:23] all right so look this here's my part right here uh here's the part of the question we got a partner so I saw this one no I saw this on one of my Facebook friends okay this is this is this is
[00:43:33] I'm glad you saw this yeah because I'm we're gonna address this do you need a gym buddy to hold you accountable and or to motivate you here's my take self-discipline is the best discipline I agree if you develop that then you hold yourself accountable but if there's somebody
[00:43:51] that if there's another outside source that's a motivating factor then you're going to be dependent on that outside source so if that person if well whether that person goes you go right so you're not
[00:44:03] in control of your whole journey it's kind of the feast of purpose it defeats the whole purpose self-discipline which starts mentally you tell yourself mentally you got to do this you have
[00:44:12] to do this and you commit yourself mentally you let me tell you something if you lie to yourself you're a lot of anybody right so don't lie to yourself commit mentally to yourself say
[00:44:24] I'm gonna do this for me right then from there you that's that's 90% of the battle because your body is going to follow what the computer says that's right so for me developing mental discipline
[00:44:35] it's better so I wouldn't rely on a gym buddy matter of fact I'm cool with the gym but it's got this you know it's got more downs and ups people want to take selfies right they go there for
[00:44:46] the wrong reason ass out right come on right come on right come on you know i want to meet somebody friend come on chick don't cook and then you get mad when somebody look at you well you come in with
[00:44:56] your ass out right you see what I'm saying come on time off you go there if you want to go there to get you a good workout that's fine so yeah I find sometimes that gym buddies can be a bit
[00:45:06] annoying they can't yeah and then your resumes might be different your resume is what you and your resumes are different right because you go to everyone goes to the gym for a different
[00:45:17] reason that's it that's right so my take that's my take I and I'm probably biased because I'm already because I'm self-discipline right so my answer is probably a little bit biased right so I think
[00:45:29] you should rely on I think you should rely on yourself right yeah right right no nothing outside nobody outside that way you get your own self-motivated every day right you get
[00:45:40] crump like that every day that's the way right uh oh we got a yoda moment yoda moment yoda moment yoda all right yoda moment we turn them on we got to turn the music down for the yoda mom
[00:45:53] child all right here we go all right I saw this quote and I wrote it down I thought it was interesting and I wanted you to see how you felt about it okay okay it goes no one has the
[00:46:05] power to change the past satan tries to trap us in the past so that we neglect the present which is when god gives us his grace and when we can cooperate with him to fulfill his will
[00:46:20] question is how do we as humans best deal with the present and leave the past in the past according to the scriptures uh okay according to the scriptures there's a there's a there's a
[00:46:31] bible verse in philippians that says uh whatsoever is pure whatsoever is lovely whatsoever is of a good rapport it says focus on those things presently not only things of the past he even says that he
[00:46:48] says leaving those things behind all right he said I press forward yeah toward the mark because there's still a mark okay so to ask you a question the way we leave the past behind is that we
[00:46:59] focus on the mark forward and that's what we do presently we focus on the mark forward right in the present time there's something we gotta do to go forward yes right and leaving the past behind
[00:47:10] but let me note the past you said that nobody can change the past right uh god says that uh i'll give you the years back that the locus and the kankawong ate up you know locus eat up stuff
[00:47:22] they eat up right right so he compared the locus to loss he said i'll give you those years back i'll restore those years back to you god says that just in reference to you saying nobody how will
[00:47:36] he do that though how would that work i mean i i and in this present time in this present time in this present time i think god when when he says to them i'll restore the years that that the
[00:47:47] locus and the kankawong ate up and the palma worm what he means by that is that the the times of joy the times of peace the times that you lost that were good times he'll give you those times back
[00:47:58] in the present time with the new with it there you go new chapter new chapter yes but he'll restore back to you as it's in the building hey that was good man all right yes yes that was a good i like the uh could you read
[00:48:18] that statement again so uh the quote was no one has the power to change the past and i think the what this was stating the quote was from um jesus actually right basically saying not god but no
[00:48:34] human being right don't worry about being tempted by anything right because no human has the power to change the past that's good satan tries to trap us in the past so that we neglect the present right
[00:48:46] which is when god gives us his grace and when we can cooperate with him to fulfill his will right in the present wow if we remain with god in the present i so i took it that we can
[00:48:57] work with god to fulfill his will which would carry us forward absolutely you know that you said that satan tries to trap us in the present right and let me tell you something there's something
[00:49:08] and i'm not just one more revelation 12 talk man it says that um they it calls uh satan the accuser of the brethren that means he's a finger pointer so when you say he tries to keep us in the
[00:49:21] present he continues to accuse us in the present of our mistakes so we won't move forward a guilty man won't march right he'll stay right there and deal with his fear the most difficult
[00:49:31] thing to overcome for you know just human nature is dealing with guilt and shame and shame and so he traps us with that yeah and that's what it was about the whole story was about guilt and shame
[00:49:44] and i didn't know that yeah fear too fear too yes fear yeah guilt and shame keeps us trapped so that yeah yo the moment man yo what we do it on and off the field y'all ain't ready for us man let that
[00:50:03] ask them that's the first i might hit that but we need a cover take that that's the yodem over music hi travel through your eyes oh my goodness so we talked a lot you know we talked a lot about nice
[00:50:24] places right so let's let's flip the script what you what do you want what kind of hole you want to see what the shithole that remind me that ever so i'm martin when martin took jenah to that island and that and that chili is island remember chili
[00:50:55] is all in that big racket he said martin there's a puppy in our room so look right so let me think of a place that i went let's say crap hole dude uh
[00:51:21] let me think of a place oh my goodness all right all right you could come over here all right all right i got it i tell you what i got it i got it dude and this is crazy we listen shout out to bourbon street
[00:51:50] dude i hadn't been to bourbon street in years right the last time we went listen oh you don't want to go doing oh when you're drunk you don't care well you have to go inebriated right because we went and and i
[00:52:07] actually felt it felt you know what it felt like i had walked in a hippos ass a wet hippo's ass it smelled like like we had literally i'm see we started smelling this stuff dude
[00:52:25] coming out the sewage i was like that is god awful it smelled like wet ass literally i'm sorry bourbon you have to go at night you don't have to go at all when you're inebriated if you're gonna
[00:52:39] go to bourbon you have to go with nose because because it's hard work stinks piss it smells like a deep that don't let them piss on the street but it smells like oh they piss they'll get
[00:52:49] arrested if you piss on the street that's the one thing if they catch them they catch that's the one thing they shut them what do you think we smell it vomit oh
[00:52:58] that's that's that's i'm not sorry come oh i'm sorry that's one of the worst place really yeah and i hate to have to be bourbon street because i've we've gone and had a few good experiences
[00:53:12] you know man there's a lot of places in new Orleans that got some shitholes wow i'm just what's what's one you've been to that just gosh man the desire the beat the cooper what is that what are you naming the project name
[00:53:28] the projects in new orleans yeah so i used to serve the high schools the the class ring so i used to have to go to these schools in these neighborhoods okay in fact when um 9 11 hit when the plane hit
[00:53:42] the towel i was given a ring presentation at bw cooper which is where uh masterpiece and those guys come from so that was that's your answer to the no i was gonna say uh i went to um la la wants to visit
[00:54:00] a friend and i'll never forget we were seeing she was giving us a tour of the of the entire area and so when we came down uh from uh beveley hills we uh we came to skid row okay and i'd never seen
[00:54:17] anything is that downtown la yes okay it was like four five rows deep of tents from the wall into the street they were it was so many they were in the street right and i'm talking for blocks
[00:54:31] and but it wasn't like one block right this was blocks and blocks and blocks driving blocks and block it was it was awful i'd never seen anything like that before so how's it picked it on t worse
[00:54:45] it looked awful we were in downtown la but i don't know if we get did we go to skid row i'm not sure huh wait no let me tell you something and i'm so glad she mentioned that
[00:54:59] the hollywood walk of fame okay now from what i understand there's a newer version now of that they did another hollywood walk of fame an updated version somewhere because the one we went
[00:55:09] to listen to me dude listen to bad neighborhood human somebody took a crap on the the the the walk of fame people wow human excrement homeless people do so that that i can see it yeah so that's
[00:55:31] that that'd be one i have to mention all right what you got what you got to say me relationships wow here's a statement uh before man begins to date he should have adequate time energy and money
[00:55:50] okay before man starts to date he should have adequate time energy and money okay i agree with that let me let i'm gonna add this let me pick it back a little bit biblically the bible says before
[00:56:06] eve ever came on the scene adam had all these before he put him asleep and took eve out he had all these so whoever said that is right time energy and money and so let's take these i thought
[00:56:24] about it once one by one i had thought about it once because when you think about what it took when you're like say if you're having a extra marital affair or extra affair right in a situation
[00:56:38] right i was taking a long along those lines so if you're having an affair it takes your time okay yes it does and that's even and if you're dating one on one it's same way that's crazy yeah
[00:56:55] but when i first thought about it but if you haven't in the fact you won't have no time no energy no money but what you what you don't realize is that it's being drained out of you
[00:57:05] your time energy and money that's we're saying the same thing you're with and if you're with the wrong person it's taking your time energy and money out of you no he said the wrong person
[00:57:17] if you were the wrong if you're anyone if you're in a relationship with anyone who is wrong for you they're going to drain your time energy and money boy you saying something it's those three
[00:57:29] things you really can't get around that you will lose out i talked about this when we talked about um i remember playing chess and finding out a different way how to play chess you apply it to
[00:57:44] life like when you play chess the rule is it's really not good to take to take as a mistake right you said i already said that before to take as a mistake okay you don't want to take
[00:57:55] because it why because it puts you out of position so when you are involved in a relationship and it's not right it takes you out of position okay where you are right but you don't
[00:58:10] realize it's taking your time energy and money wow wow that's good that's a good segment we listen this i'm gonna put a asterisk by this you ever been to like a ladies club okay ladies in your
[00:58:26] former life when you say ladies club strip club in your former life what does it take my former take what does it take from you i did that in my present life
[00:58:36] we did that we married yeah in new Orleans what is it well what does it take from you what does it take from you uh time energy and money it does that's a good statement
[00:58:50] there's something to think about that's a really good statement i'm i put a ashes by that we might need that that's gonna be get a hold of yeah we got back in the block on that new segment tech
[00:58:58] effect of social media to feel the need to respond and our website launch so listen let's take the first one you take the first one i was telling you right the other day that i had the idea
[00:59:08] basically to this and i'm guessing that's why you put it there yeah yes um facebook has given people a false sense of privilege to be offended at anything correct so people now
[00:59:25] have been tapped on the shoulder by society and say hey you know you can be offended by that right and they'll have to pay you some attention you know that right so the people they was like oh really
[00:59:38] so i could be offended by that oh so they go on social media i'm offended i'm offended i'm offended i'm offended society then tell them hey you know to keep your stress level down you can always
[00:59:47] take your industry index finger and scroll and scroll pass it right and for the record y'all is scroll scro it's not stroll stop saying stroll s t r o that's when you walk in it's when you walk
[01:00:02] in with your two feet it ain't when you're doing on facebook stop saying i'm strolling past them posts you ain't strolling past nothing stop it right you scroll scro a l a l stop that's why we draw the line
[01:00:18] i don't like what they feel like they got a comment on it they gotta feel like they feel like so it's it's they've legitimized uh belly aching yes that's what they do yeah face that's the that's the effect
[01:00:34] i think social media what do you think i agree it makes it make what it does it makes people feel like they have a right to say whatever they want to say i got something else to say too
[01:00:46] and and because they have a feeling of oh this moves me i have to make a comment and and somebody else makes a comment oh i make a i'm gonna make a comment on your comment right
[01:00:57] let me say this so now and but then you take a lot of people who have had issues i'll say in regular life mm-hmm you get on the computer and now you have a super life you got an audience
[01:01:15] you can see what you want and that oh i got a comment i got a like oh my god i'm gonna and it builds and builds and now you created a monster you segue it into my next comment yeah which i said
[01:01:26] this before to my wife i've talked this in church before in and out the church attention is the worst drug in the world it's what men die for and babies cry for talk heavy coach it's what men
[01:01:41] die for and babies cry for it's the worst drug in the world yeah because when you're seeking attention your teeth don't rot so there's nowhere in the fix you can't see it when you look in the mirror
[01:01:54] right your teeth don't rot you don't lose weight because it's as long as you're getting that attention it's the worst drug in the world yeah and everybody and that's the foundation of everything
[01:02:05] you just said it's because their attention see do you know why do you know why the devil got kicked out of heaven dude why he didn't he wasn't getting attention he wanted attention
[01:02:15] he said it in israel chapter 14 he said he said he said hey i'm i'm on my throne above god's they not looking at me enough that's why he got kicked out because they weren't paying him enough attention
[01:02:26] he was over the music in uh department he was a music he was over the music so what would happen to us if i could can i please what he would do he would he would worship god singing he could
[01:02:38] sing very very beautifully sing other angels could sing too but the the the people would worship he would bring take the people to worship and send it to god worship then the sending them for worship is
[01:02:50] attention that's what it's a sending in right right right he so the people's attention was on god worshiping god hallelujah god is holy he's awesome god is my nobody's beside god well satan lucifer
[01:03:02] who was in between that who got in between that he started saying wow he's getting all his attention and i'm not getting on it he said so what i'm gonna do is the bible said pride rose up in his heart
[01:03:15] and he said i'm gonna take my throne which he had a throne which if he had a throne he was a king too nobody tell you different lucifer was a king right so nobody got to throw in that king so he
[01:03:24] said i'm gonna take my throne and lift it above the most high above the stars of god stars of god and the angels he said i'm gonna lift it above the clouds so if i'm gonna lift my
[01:03:33] throne above the clouds where am i presently on beneath the right right right so you want to get enough attention so attention is work drugging in the world so it's from satan that's the extra

[01:14:40] A chop a dog. Yeah, yeah. So I want to talk to us at this time. You want it? He done wanted the last two. You wanted the last two. Tunk Twisters. I ain't been winning them. Man you kicked my ass that one. I'm sleeping and keeping, yeah.
[01:14:55] I did. I beat your ass coach. It's because you beat my ass and poo. You brought that up. These are the last two Tunk Twisters you've been wearing. Poo got you. Yeah he got me on that time. I ain't gonna lie, I took a L bad.
[01:15:06] Okay, athlete versus athlete. Kyrie Irving versus Isaiah Thomas. Your team needs a point guard. Who do you trade for? Kyrie Irving or Isaiah Thomas? I'm gonna have to trade for God. God is tough. Cause let me say this before I answer.
[01:15:40] Both of these athletes can play full court and have court. But which one do you think? I think Isaiah Thomas has that killer championship mentality a little bit more than Kyrie. Kyrie is more of, he's a pro, Kyrie is as skilled as anybody I've ever seen. Right.
[01:16:09] But he's not a pro. Isaiah never did that what Kyrie did in the finals. Okay. If Isaiah lost it was because the other players around Isaiah didn't play that. So I go with Isaiah Thomas. I was really torn between the two, to be honest.
[01:16:24] But if you look at Kyrie, he's really active but not as effective. Very, very active. I mean he's got skills. Skills set out of the roof. Right plus Isaiah Thomas. Off the charts. How many teams Kyrie been with? Not that it's you. Yeah. So Isaiah. Detroit. Detroit.
[01:16:42] So yeah, Isaiah Thomas. I got to rock with Isaiah on that one. I'll trade for Isaiah on that one. And I won't second guess that one. Golf. Which I'm not like a big golf fan. But I mean I rock with it.
[01:16:55] What if you could select any three people deceased to play a round of golf with your fantasy forcing? Okay. Any three people. Deceased though. Deceased. Burning Mac, cause he gonna have me cracking up I tell him. Plus he used to play golf. Burning Mac.
[01:17:23] You gonna trip out when I say this. Malcolm X. And deceased. Oh. Wait a minute. I got him in mind. Don't do me like this. Burning Mac, Malcolm X. And he played Black Panther. Oh. T'Challa. Chaswick Bowman. Chaswick Bowman. Yeah, Chaswick Bowman. I would play golf again. Okay.
[01:18:06] Yes. Who you got? I would do Martin Luther King. Oh. I would do Martin Luther King. You awful for stealing that. I would do my daughter. I would put her in there. He will be on there. Yeah, playing. And oh man, what was the other one?
[01:18:28] Ah, I forgot the other one. Oh. Wow, coach. Maybe. If you don't name nobody else you good. Maybe Richard, maybe like Richard Pryor. You stealing my good ones dude. Richard Pryor, some comedy. And if I could do it over again, I'd play with Mary too.
[01:18:46] I would play some. You know what was? I would play some Burning Mac with Mary. What was crazy man is the time, the first time we noticed when we go in hindsight, when we noticed that she got sick is we were doing golf lessons. Wow.
[01:19:06] City, what's the park? Oh God, what's that park right there? Spring Hill. Okay. Spring Hill Golf Course. Okay. Spring Hill Golf Course. Wow. So we never got to finish, so that's why I would say I would play. So that's the mirror. Right, no doubt. Soundfell question man.
[01:19:26] The good one, good one. Matter of fact, pause for a second. He gonna be on my show after this y'all. We gonna be on- I'm gonna get deep with you. You better leave a podcast, he's coming up next. We probably gonna, yeah. You get deep with you.
[01:19:36] Yeah, we gonna get heavy on that. So yeah, we gonna say that. Yeah, Soundfell question. So what I like this show, I love Soundfell, I don't know why I watch it too. I've already been in big Soundfell. I don't watch it too much.
[01:19:45] It's like background music to me, I guess, you know. But anyway, they had a question once. You said Soundfell is like background music? When you can listen to the jokes and not have to watch it. You can be watching this instead. Yeah, exactly.
[01:19:57] Okay, that's crazy how you described it. So one of the questions they asked off the wall, question, so this is why I said Soundfell question. Do you think Superman had super humor powers also? Could he win a death jam if he was on death jam?
[01:20:13] So when you say, oh, okay. Superman. Do you think he had humor too? I don't think so. No? No, I don't think he, Cal-L didn't teach him that. Cal-L never realized it. Well the argument is he's got all the other powers. Why wouldn't he have super humor?
[01:20:29] Yeah, because he, you know, he able to leap tall buildings with a single bound. He can't rock a crowd. Can't rock a crowd? No. He'd feel it. Yeah, yeah. All right, oh my goodness. Six. First time. You, I go first and you laugh it. Ha ha ha ha.
[01:20:54] I lost, wait a minute. Are you ready? You can't shock me no more man. Thank you. We don't want to go into. I'm not going to go into detail. No detail. I was 16 years old when I lost my virginity. Okay.
[01:21:10] I was in a basketball game in the backseat of a Wyden-Bergeny Cutler Supreme with an ugly girl. Okay. I was younger than that and on a playground, on a park bench. Okay. The bench was in the woods though, you know?
[01:21:32] So it wasn't like it was out in the open. It was in the woods. But mine was with an ugly girl. I hope she doesn't listen. Ha ha ha. I ain't gonna say nothing. The names have been protected. Yeah, yeah. Like they say, you know what I mean?
[01:21:46] Yeah. New segment. New segment. Marcus, Marcus. This is Marcus. Marcus walked around with a blue bag of cassettes. Okay. And in his cassette, all these cassettes had classic, you know, Motown, old school Memphis. You know, it was just really good music. Right. He called it the blue bag.
[01:22:08] He lost it. And all those tapes disappeared. Cassettes. It cassettes. So there was this one tape in there that was really interesting. It was called Hear My Dear. Have you ever heard of the album? Never heard of it. By Marvin Gaye. Hear My Dear is a whole album.
[01:22:22] Yes, by Marvin Gaye. That's it. Call Hear My Dear. I'm gonna Google it and put it up. So you know, he was married to Barry Gordy's daughter. Okay. Got her name. Gosh, what was Barry Gordy's daughter's name? We show off for getting the last one. I know.
[01:22:37] But anyway, they were married and they got divorced. And in the divorce, part of the settlement was coming out of his next album. Okay. So he made this album called Hear My Dear. That's it. Hear My Dear. Yeah, that's it.
[01:22:56] So he made this album dedicating it to the ex. Right. Hear My Dear. Oh! Yeah. And he all throughout the album, you got need to check it out. I'm gonna listen to that. Yeah. That's fire. Wow. Okay, then Hear My Dear. Hear My Dear. Psycho girl story.
[01:23:18] Every guy has a psycho girl story. You got one? Yeah. Yeah. I was in Catholic Iceland and this girl named Dee. Used to come to my dorm room when I was with, this is before we even got married. She come to the door. Rick in there.
[01:23:41] Yeah, what you need was. Tell them to come to the door. Just make a long story short. She was from Philadelphia, I remember that. And we went Catholic Iceland. Over there, it's on the island. So it ain't hard to, you know, link up.
[01:24:00] You know, man, the marriage is over that one. Cause it was secluded. So anyway, she was from Philadelphia. Had this, you know, I saw people had that, what you call it, obsession? That's what it was. Wow. Chasing you around? Not chasing. Like, well, it wasn't even just her.
[01:24:25] It was another Danielle too. Not Jennifer. It was a chick named Jennifer. I remember we was dancing. I was dancing with her one time. In the club, I was rap making her. We wild and dancing. Chick leaned over, stuck her tongue, cleaned down my throat. You remember that?
[01:24:44] Yeah. Yeah. And so I had two. So one is D. She was yoga too. No names, no names. Okay. This is Nick names. Yogi. Yogi. Yogi. Yeah, and D, she don't know D. That's her name. Okay. So yeah, just knocking on the door. Wow. Yeah.
[01:25:02] So, John, you got one? I was a freshman. And this was my first time with a white girl. Ooh. Yeah. Whoa. It was my first one. And she lived in the dorm. She lived in the dorm. Like two floors above me. Okay.
[01:25:23] So I go in her dorm room one night and no one's in there, but the light, like that, like the light behind you right there is shining. That light was shining over her desk. My graduation picture was on the desk. Oh. The picture was signed.
[01:25:44] I didn't sign it. I didn't sign it. I didn't sign it. I didn't sign it. I didn't sign it. I didn't sign it. I didn't sign it. I'm waiting to see how she signed it. Like it was signed to her. She signed your name?
[01:25:58] Yeah, so I'm looking at the picture. And you know you ain't signed? I'm like, yo, what the fuck is this? She come in the room and she spooked the shit out of me. So now I'm like, yo, what is this? Hi, LB. That was my nickname LB. Gotcha.
[01:26:16] So I'm looking at the, I'm looking around the room. My letter jacket is hanging in her closet. Then I looked my 76er starter jacket with the Moses Malone and Dr. J. Button on it is hanging on the hook. Oh, you talking about something out of a movie, bro?
[01:26:36] It's a movie. Nah, I ain't making it up, bro. No, no, no, I'm telling you this sound like a movie. That one I'm telling you. I ain't telling you lying. I know you're telling, you that sound like something out of a movie.
[01:26:46] They let them in jacket and all that. So I grabbed the shit. We leave. I leave. Well, it gets even deeper. So we have a flood in our dorm. So we had to move to a different dorm. So now my dorm is an RA apartment.
[01:27:05] So like when you walk in, I got a living room. I got a bath, like a regular bathroom, private bathroom with a tub, shower, and a back bedroom. Like an apartment. I tore my knee. So I just had surgery.
[01:27:20] I was sitting in a chair with the knee wrap, you know? I couldn't move. Right. Knock on the door. Sound like a movie. We're having a party right down the door. Knock on the door, it's her. Yeah, misery. So she come in the door. I'm like, oh shit.
[01:27:36] Yeah, misery. Her leg was broke. She broke his leg. I remember that. Yeah, I remember that. I'm telling you misery. She came in the room. Misery. She was like, she saw the jet. I had put all these jet beauties of the week on the wall.
[01:27:51] You know, I was homesick, you know what I mean? So and she tore them down. She tore them down. Oh yeah, misery. Yeah, that's a movie, bro. She tore them down. You need to go on right there. Then she went, now this is where it got creepy.
[01:28:05] She went and got this. No, she went and got my roommate had a. Come on, bro. She went and got a mask. She went and got a mask. And she was taking her tongue through the mask. And she was saying, oh, who LB? I'm going to get you.
[01:28:27] I'm not some serious. Yo, I'm some dead serious. So my roommate comes in. My roommate comes in. He sees this and he knows. He knows. He's like, oh, my bad. I'm like, no, no, no. Yo, that's, yo, he lifted her up, took her out.
[01:28:43] Took her out the room. Locked had to put her out there to call the police. Oh, no. No, man. So just from just being with her one time? A more than one time. 9 millimeter, boy. And I'm really not. Oh, my goodness. Po girl. Po girl. Po girl.
[01:29:19] Bless the heart. Listen, boy, you he's last two is crazy. What if you had diarrhea and you got caught the feeling on the soul train line? Do you go or pass on the opportunity? That's crazy. So if you got a chance to be on soul train
[01:29:37] and not on your soul train, but you going to land. You got on the soul train line. That's when you on your own. Right. That's when you're going down the middle. So you can't like just. You can't slide out. You can't slide out. And you got diarrhea.
[01:29:50] How you going to come down? I'm passing. That's just too much pressure for me. It make it easy. He said I just do with pressure. I have some fun, put some music in my bathroom and do what I got to do. Oh, my God. You know what?
[01:30:08] I think I'm a pass too. Because you know, I don't want to be on that. You would be on top of it. You can't bug you like you want to. No, not on soul train. Not with the bug cheeks. Yeah. You ever walk, you know, you walk militant
[01:30:20] when you got to use it. And then you know, you be straight up. You walk like a pink one. OK. All right. So I ain't got no diarrhea jokes. You got any diarrhea jokes? You must have one. That's why you put it on there.
[01:30:42] Come on with it, bro. I know you got one, bro. Come on. You more like a sailor. I knew it. Not did a joke. I was walking down the hall and I heard something fall. Diarrhea. Diarrhea. I was walking by a gutter.
[01:30:59] It didn't look like beat up but a diarrhea. Diarrhea. Diarrhea. OK. Episode 9. Episode 9. All right. This is the episode 9. It's episode 9. It's episode 9. It's episode 9.
