[00:00:32] I've never seen him without one. But you went, hey, I got an idea to come over with. I can't say he likes sugar. Not sure. Not sure. Not enough, but for God. So, is it not known to you? I know.

[00:02:48] Jordan. With the cigar. Right. That's a good point. Yeah. Tennessee, Tennessee, Alabama. Tennessee Football game. Tennessee versus Alabama. They used the cigars. Victory cigar. They lighted up in the locker room after the game. No, I do. You personally listen to smoke cigars. Do you? I like them. Yeah.

[00:03:10] Do you have a special? Are you like an official? Not a, or you just go no. No. Virgins. I rely on the, what do you call the bartender to you? To recommend something. They got some serious, like it's an intricacy about the God. Just like the least. Yeah.

[00:03:28] You got different kinds of light. Medium heavy. Yeah. I don't personally, I don't do cigars. You know, but yeah. They're okay. Interesting. Interesting. They are interesting. Mary's nerd nugget fun fact. We gotta get Mary. Mary's. I got fun fact. The clap.

[00:03:45] Did you know that the saying close but no cigar. Originated back in the 1920s when carnivals used to give cigars as prizes. Wow. Yeah. Close but no cigar. Close but no cigar. So they didn't, so they didn't. So you know what's crazy. Wow. Yeah. That's interesting.

[00:04:05] Mary and they can fun fact. I class class clown open. I was going to get a contract. You told me I was going to like the local joke. I get it. And then try and get something that you would like. Alright. Listen. We are ready for this one.

[00:04:24] What did the cheap cigar say to the bag of weed? What did he say? May I be blunt with you? That's a good word. I like that word. I hope this doesn't offend anyone. Okay. What do you call an Ethiopian girl with a yeast infection? Oh man. What?

[00:04:45] A quarter pound of what cheese. Oh my goodness. I don't know. I should drop it out with the knife. Oh my goodness. You know. And you know if you are. Alright. Alright. Dude, we cannot. Alright. What did the Dallas Cowboys and the Postal Service have in common? What?

[00:05:11] They both don't deliver all Sunday. That's a good word. Yeah. Alright. Why did the Seattle Seahaw Board come across the road? Oh boy. I was thinking the same thing when I accelerated. Alright. So before we call, before we call. Yes. We want to do a.

[00:05:36] We're going to start off with a Yoda moment. We got to do listen. And then I'm going to tell you something. This is what we. I want to give y'all the real deal. The real deal of Yoda moment. Listen. Alright. Alright. Alright. I'll give you a moment. Alright.

[00:06:07] Okay. I'll give you a minute. Listen again. Let me preface this by saying we never practice the Yoda moment. It is not pre recorded. We haven't spoken about it. Right coach. That's right. Let's go. Okay.

[00:06:23] Discuss a specific story or passage in the Bible that has personal meaning to you. I would say the Bible says that introduces David as a man after God's own heart. That passage is personal to me because more than because that's really the call of my life.

[00:06:55] I really, I'm a modern day David. The way my life is going and it's going. The ups in the downs. So that the reason is personal is because I'm living the David life. I am his life.

[00:07:09] Literally the mistakes I made, the good choices, the bad choices, the ups and downs. I'm talking about the betrayal, the befriended everything that David lived. And all of that those bad choices, the Bible says God himself testified that David when God says this.

[00:07:30] He said that man wrapped up is a man after my own heart. No man said that God said that about David. Yes. You rarely see what God testified. God himself testified. Not a man. The voice of God testified, I say, that's David. He's a man after my heart.

[00:07:48] That's heavy. So that for me is personal because I'm out of my mistakes. Out of my choices, good and bad. And I'm stressing it because it really really. I didn't even know what Jesus was about. Right.

[00:08:01] And I'm living the David life now and that it is synonymous of my life. That's why we read about David, what passage. And you read about him in person, second Samuel. He's introduced actually in those books.

[00:08:16] He actually comes in to the Bible saying it's like a 15-year already dude. Okay. Like this little, already dude, 15 years old. Look good. You've got to see a very athletic, very, very, very well spoken. And so, but he was on the backside of a mountain, tending, stanky sheep.

[00:08:34] That was the unpopular job. Hmm. They put him, they hear the Jewel. That's what he, he was, he, he'd, he'd hit him over here in Jewel. Yeah. But the prophet, God sent the prophet to call him out. He said, bring him. That's who I want.

[00:08:50] So he was a man after my heart. or anything. So that's what's for me. It's personal. Wow. All right, me to make that. No, that's awesome, man. That's why you just work. All right! You got to get it this? Marriott. Y'all understand. We're doing the Yoda dance.

[00:09:08] Right now. And we go happy and the dance. Y'all, yeah, y'all, yeah. Y'all! I'm not gonna be a woman. All right, all right, all right. Shout out to Yoda, man. Alright, so let's call it back. We got to get McCallum. We got to get McCallum. Okay.

[00:09:32] Wait a minute, we're going to get a cigar bar in Brooklyn right now. This is about to be lit. Alright, let's get him on the line. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Is this Mr. Frederick Brown? Good morning. How you doing? Can you hear us?

[00:10:00] I can hear you perfectly. Can you hear me? Yes sir. Good morning to you sir. We want to shout you out. Mr. Frederick Brown, welcome to our own and out the field. Sports Park has to be with the purpose. Yes sir. Yes sir.

[00:10:13] So good to have you sir. I'm good. Is the other person on the line the one in only started lands a lot of horses. Yes sir. Yes he is. You know a coach.

[00:10:25] He has the regional ways of my off if you would allow us for one second just to introduce you to the world. Our guest Frederick Brown is the renowned cigar or fishing auto and the managing director of Sara Licks accessories LLC.

[00:10:39] He's also a former main black bear who would discuss his luxury cigar accessories, the culture of cigars and how it relates to life and sports. What's up? What's up? Thank you for having me. Thank you for having me. Thank you for having me.

[00:10:54] So I also hear that you are a former military. I am a US Navy. For this is why I love you. I already. As well. You know you guys. Salt life. We fell in salt life was. How you, I love it. I love it.

[00:11:11] Thank you for your service. Thank you. You military as well? Yes sir. Former Navy. Yes sir. You asked me. I'm asking. That's what I'm talking about. That's what we do on Mr. Barrel. I've got a connection already. Yes indeed. So listen, we want to get right into this.

[00:11:26] We want to celebrate you today. We really appreciate you for being on. How's it going in Brooklyn? Brooklyn is live, man. It's just the energy can't be replaced. It can't be maximum. Some of the time you know the people are people out. There's a party.

[00:11:43] There's a block party. Wow. Wow. All right. So let's get right into it. We got a series of questions for you. First we want to just break the ice with saying listen, we want to know who is your favorite in a 15 and why.

[00:11:59] I'm a giant fan and only because you know I growing up. I was never really in sports early on. I got into sports because the Patrick doing. And I think what it was was I was watching the game with my uncle. And he had on.

[00:12:17] He had on it was during Georgetown. He was at Georgetown. And I just I just loved it. You know, I was like, you know, it's doing amazing. And I just then hooked on to, you know, sports. And then I would watch the giant, you know, with my uncle.

[00:12:31] He's going to put me on the sports. Okay. And you know, I'm in New York. So I'm watching the giant and I thought of the jets. But I didn't like the uniforms. My son, my son. His wife is his wife, my kidman, is called LL coup march.

[00:12:48] The LL coup march is a fire night. He says that you father is famous to follow that name too. Yeah. So let's get this before you. So how do you how do you feel about losing say quit.

[00:13:01] I feel like the giant did the ultimate dummy moves and I applaud him for going to the bit to the big grubber they deserve what they got. It is what it is. You know, I'm out. It is what it is, man.

[00:13:17] You could have kept that man for only $2 million. $2 million. You let that man go, but you give manual Jones 40 million. Right. Oh my goodness. You're right. Right. You can't get that man in extra $2 million. I hate talking Mr. Brown. I like the field at, I feel that.

[00:13:39] I feel that. I had that. It is tragic. We tell the listeners where are you from and where did you go to high school? So I was born in Yonkers, which is in Westchester, you know, South of New York City.

[00:13:54] That was seven years old we moved to Brooklyn and then when did I move? Ninth grade going into ninth grade, we moved to Long Island. Okay. And Yonkers Dale, Yonkers Dale, I went to Yonkers High School and then right after that

[00:14:13] I was set to I was in high school. That was my main sport. Okay. And I was set to how do you scholarship workers? I broke my leg, my senior year. So I missed about three months of my last year and all of a sudden those colleges that

[00:14:29] was interested in me changed their number. Oh, so what happens? Yeah. So you have been doing any kind of crazy things in high school and it was the dumbest thing you ever did in the high school. My wife might be listening to this one. My wife.

[00:14:47] My children might be hearing this one. They think of me in the high school. We'll go for a camera. We'll go for a microphone. Respect. What do you do for work in addition to being the in the cigar business and where do you live?

[00:15:09] I'm a almost financial crime that's the gate of the entire international bank. And where do you live now? I live in Brooklyn. Brooklyn. That's the best. Best. Do a job at that time. Do a job at that time. It's a do or gentrified. That's a. Oh, right.

[00:15:28] I'm not like that. Do a gentrified job. Do a noted. Do you remember the moment when you said the cigar lifestyle was for you? Do you remember that moment when they hit you?

[00:15:41] You know what's funny because I had always thought like cigars, you know, white things all the white dudes, you know after business meeting, drinking some scotch and stuff. So I think it was it was 2009.

[00:15:54] I was a real estate agent and a friend of mine had invited me to an event. She said it was a networking event. So I went with I was a new shore and I went with a cigar lounge. And it was all black people was in Harlem.

[00:16:09] And it blew my mind. At the time 2009, I'm put 29. Oh, wait. How old am I? Oh, my. That was the one. I was 39. So I'm like, you know, I'm like, wow, you know, black people smells of God. I never knew that.

[00:16:27] And I turned my first cigar and, you know, do the whole habits I nailed. And that's the one thing you don't do. I can't. I can't. I can't. So you know, that's the one thing you don't do. So you know, I'm coughing up.

[00:16:43] I'm spitting my eyes as red like, you know, I got up at gas chamber. And, you know, everybody was there was just clapping and laughing. And I'm like, yo, what's going on? They're like, yo, you're not a virgin anymore. Welcome to the building. Well, that's what's nice.

[00:16:59] And I just loved it from there one out because I, you know, I have been able to find. I've been able to get customers. And, you know, you never really realize how many people actually smokes cigar. Wow. Yeah. Discuss women and cigars.

[00:17:15] It's been mine since I've been smoking. It's been my just viewing that a lot more women, particularly black women smokes cigars, especially if you go down south like when I travel to Georgia, I've been to, and say Lewis, so I know which is in the Midwest.

[00:17:38] You see a lot of black women as cigar at the dollar lounges and going back to the south, Georgia is a few black women that own cigar lounges. Here in New York, we have two black women that own cigar lounges of all lounges of

[00:17:54] Gloria who owns Brooklyn Blue Smoke and sharing who owns a new Jack City in the Bronx. So it's a growing, it's a growing demographic basically because you know, cigar smoking is not a, it's not a cheap lifestyle.

[00:18:14] I don't want to say that the hobby is it's more lifestyle and women, particularly black women are making a lot more money nowadays. Let me actually, let's continue. Continue to that.

[00:18:25] Do you think that adds a certain sex appeal to a woman like the cigar, you know what I mean? Does that because usually like women that smoke cigarettes, that's not appealing. But women that smoke cigars though. Yes, that's it. It is.

[00:18:42] It's a very, you know, it's, it's a, it shows strength when it shows like, you know, you could be, you could just be just a feminine and smoke as a guard just like the big boys. Right, right, it does not take the peer to it though.

[00:18:58] Yeah, I don't think you're trying to compete with the man, but I think, you know, women, I would say work just as hard as men, and if it's something you want to do it on wine,

[00:19:09] then people just like, anyway, you know, you go to a, you go to a sprawl and you can be somebody that could change your life in a sense. Right, correct. Right, right. Absolutely over cigar.

[00:19:19] So tell us about your website and how can we find your website and tell us about a little bit about it? So my, my company, what we, we own is like, if it's a guy accessory company, just to be clear, we do not sell the guards. Okay.

[00:19:34] We only sell the cases, the human doors, we sell the cutters, and I also have a, I would, an ebook on the history and etiquette of cigar. Okay. It's at the Cyrilic S-A-R-E-L-I-Eck-Sugarstor.com. Okay. Say that again. You want me to spell it again? Yes. Yes. Okay.

[00:20:04] The Cyrilic S-A-R-E-L-I-Eck-Sugarstor.com. Okay. And we'll have a link on our website, too. Right. Thank you. Yeah. Absolutely. So I think what we wanted to do is, um, you know, I'm sorry, this is to make the quick.

[00:20:21] I, you know, I've always started, like, I'm a Cyril entrepreneur, I'm always looking to do something that, you know, you know, to make it from anywhere. More or less something that I love. Right. And so I, I was on Instagram and I was a young lady.

[00:20:35] She had a cup of coffee. And all she did was, in her video, she was, she would walk with the cup of coffee and talk about, you would make comment like, you know, what's your passion or what do you, you know, what is it?

[00:20:48] What do you want to spend your time doing? And I just called my attention. And I contacted, I said, hey, what do you do? She's like, you know, I can solve. And we spoke about maybe two hours.

[00:21:00] And I kind of explained her of the lifestyle of the gars. Okay. She was like, well, why don't you sell one of your cell cigars? I could not. You know, you have to be licensed. She said, well, what about selling cigar? So, cigar cases.

[00:21:17] And I was like, wow. I never thought of that. And I just did my research about three months later. I opened the website. I found some, you know, good or at the time that I thought good, vendors. And, you know, spent trial and error.

[00:21:34] But I think, say it in the last eight months. I'm going to really good role. I'm comfortable with my, with the people that I work with and everything's been good, not going to work. Good. Is there any like cigar etiquette?

[00:21:49] And what should I do as a first timer with cigars? And another part of that question is, where can they find your cigar etiquette reference book on your website? When you go, when you look on my site, when it says, shop here? You just click on it.

[00:22:05] It has all my products. And once you see the, it'll say the taste of an etiquette of cigars. Okay. Go on for $20. Okay. And all my other products. I would say when you go to a cigar lounge,

[00:22:17] if it's your first time, talk to the talk to the owner who ever there, tell them what you like, you know, tell them what your taste, your taste buds are like. Because I think you guys know, you're, you're,

[00:22:30] you're, it's about the taste or you know, you might like flavored. Right, right. Right. Right. Generally, you don't know what you like, but it's, I would say try out the house blend to go off. You know, usually when I've gone,

[00:22:49] the guy will, the bartender will recommend something based on what I drink I've ordered. Yes, what goes around, you know, with I ordered beer, a log or something like that or if I ordered a bourbon, you know, they would have something, use it.

[00:23:02] They would order something like that. Yeah. And so that's true. So a lot of these into the next question. So pair a cigar with like a cabernet, a wine, or either a cigar with like a bourbon. Could you, would you suggest?

[00:23:16] So I would say, like, let's say whiskey, right? With the generally a winter drink because it's heavier, it's thicker. Yeah. For the summer, if it's actually a thing, you would drink to Kila. Right. Okay.

[00:23:33] Generally, because, you know, it's lighter, it's not, you know, me, I drink whatever I smoke whatever year round. I don't, you know, I don't pertain to that because this certain,

[00:23:42] if I had to, if I were on the island and the only cigar that I could have a smoke for my life, it would be a highly costier, no question that like, begin old, there's no stopping it. It's that's me.

[00:23:56] My second would be leaf by Oscar and fan of Ursary. Okay. That's interesting. Mm-hmm. In terms of drinks? Yeah. For me, nothing beats a nice couple black coffee. Ah, you know what, that's true. That's true. Which one would you also know?

[00:24:15] I was, let's say I got a glass of cabernet wine, which one, which cigar would you say? It goes best with a glass of wine, red wine. A glass of red wine. So you would want something more of a, a, a, a, a mouth mouth.

[00:24:30] I would say go with a like a, a lot of aroma that Cuba. Okay. Okay. Okay. Yeah. Is it better to smoke a cigar before or after a meal? That's a good question because I've done both. I think we have to, yeah. Yeah. That's usually because it's just,

[00:25:01] So, you know, I'm at, like right now, I'm at Gabby Dogg and Brooklyn. And they open at 10 a.m. Okay. So it's not uncommon for me because I work from home most of the time. Okay.

[00:25:13] So it's not uncommon for me to come in here at 10 a.m. 10 30 smokers are gone while I mean, but there's, and then go home chill, you know, take care of the kids, you know, get them settled. He dinner and then go smoke again. Right.

[00:25:29] But I got to write that out of the, I got to get back to you on that one. Maybe it is an extra month out of all of, I'll do that experiment. We can better. All right. So look, we have this segment. The final sports drive jepter.

[00:25:42] And we get excited about this. We get excited about it. So we got to say, we're the questions for you. And, you know, we, we always get excited about this segment. So coach, coach, you want, yes. So this is first call. Would you rather segment?

[00:25:58] Would you rather, would you rather be the regular host on sole train? Or would you rather be the regular host on your MTV Rapps? So train. Oh, corneez. corneez, right. Smooth. Let me ask you this though.

[00:26:14] I got to ask you this question because you say you from Yachters. So, so are you, are you a Rapp? Do you like hip hop? Yes, I do. So as, as Jeter kids, your top five did all of that. I couldn't argue with somebody made that argument.

[00:26:33] You like Jeter? Yeah. You either my top one. You rock, you rock with Jeter? I do rock with Jeter, but I would say he's on my top 10. Who you got? Who you got? I'm just real quick. I got to notice. You got it. Top 10.

[00:26:47] Jeter say he top five did all of that. My, I would have to say non. Okay. Can. Okay. Okay. Okay. J. Okay. I need this. Come on. I need this. This is painful. Oh. Come on. I need this. I need the heaviest. Snoop. Snoop. Okay. Fine, Snoop. Right.

[00:27:22] Right. I respect that. Okay. And rock him. I, this and I'm going to give you that. Because rock him. I was waiting. You had to put him the strong. You had to put the god of seeing that. Yeah. You had to put the god of seeing that.

[00:27:38] You had to put the god of seeing that. So that was fine. To me. My melody is still to me. The greatest hip hop song of all time. It's a melody. It is. Yeah. It's got the world where he's safe.

[00:27:50] It's not the one where he say I take seven. Them sees put them in a little bit. And then. Seven. That's. They take it. I mean, it takes. I'm over full. I go for my. And it's 21. See. It's about the same time. He's never doing easy.

[00:28:04] That's what I'm doing. No. No. No. No. No. But don't make me see. No. No. No. Let's go. I'm not. If you don't mind, hold on once I can. Let me go get my gold chain in my. That's my beauty. Yeah. That's. Oh. That's good.

[00:28:26] I got to ask you this. Let me ask you. Where were you? Right? Where were you doing her case, Sandy? Do you remember what you were? Oh. 14 Cindy. Yes. That was a. That was the one in New York, right? Yeah. I was home.

[00:28:42] I was actually working from home. And our lights just flickered. I got no. I didn't get no damage to my house. But I smelled. I smelled seaweed. I smelled seaweed for like two, three days. Wow. And I remember how you get we didn't get no damage.

[00:29:00] You know, my house it was we got a lot of wind. We got a lot of rain. But I didn't know there was you know, that dog wouldn't get any damage by where I was at. Okay. Okay. This next segment is called travel through your eyes. Yes.

[00:29:16] So describe seeing Maine while in the Navy and then while at Orno. Okay. When. So when I when I got to Maine, it was funny because I was stationed in the Navy. In the Navy. Yes. When I was a Navy. I was stationed in Maine.

[00:29:38] I was at Bath ironwork. Me, I was a was being put on a on a shift that was being built. Okay. And I was many young lady while I was there. And she had attended the University of Maine. So that's when I would go up to the campus.

[00:29:56] You know, to see her one time at time. I was. I was a culture shop. I got to be honest with you. I was growing up. I never, I never really been around too many white people.

[00:30:11] Even my high school even I won't Island is predominantly union deal like the union deal hemp trade area and like freeport where Kenny, Kenny, swine was from. Yeah, it's primarily black black. So we had a few more people but I never really don't go in to the service.

[00:30:29] You know, I saw you know, it's like guys or whatever, but it wasn't like that. Much of an issue. Right. Going to Maine was a shop because I've never seen so many white people. Not that it was a bath thing, but I know means.

[00:30:45] But it was just you know different. You're it's less than 1% black in the entire state. Really. Yeah. Yeah. So good. Yeah. It was it was a shock. I mean, I got, you know, I got used to it because I had gone through.

[00:31:02] At the time when I was getting out, I had got hurt on the ship. So I got a, I was, I have been released on the service connected disability. Okay. I was, I had applied to multiple schools.

[00:31:16] One of them being Howard and amped in and North of state. But they didn't give me any money because I was, what's considered a not traditional food because I was older. Maine said, we'll pay, we'll pay. You will give you everything you want. Okay.

[00:31:32] So I want to Maine, I'm, you know, go where they pay you. Right. And, you know, when I, it took a minute to adjust because I teach me black women. And, you know, I loved it overall. You know, I loved it. I had to do it over again.

[00:31:48] I couldn't, I couldn't convince me not to do it. Right. Because like that, I met some amazing people. But it is day that I say to my brothers that I am love dearly.

[00:32:00] One of them being land true, you know, I didn't, I didn't really know lands like that. We were in college but speaking to him since, you know, afterwards, you know, kind of getting to know him as I have. And it's been a great, it's been a great thing.

[00:32:17] And I, I, I, I, I could have black men. Yeah. Black men. So listen, I got it before you. Let me ask you this. Who do you pick? WMBA segment. I got to ask you this. I'm interested in this. Who would you pick for rookie of the year?

[00:32:34] Andrew Reese or Caitlyn Clark? Do you know what I'm going to take away everything? It's still up in the air because you got to say, offensive wise, Caitlyn's got her. Defense of wise and say like rebounding wise, from a, I guess from a point of the impact

[00:33:00] of what the holiday impact between, Reece Folly has to buy a note. I think what it's going to come down to probably is who gets in the playoffs? And if he goes in the playoffs, who goes farther? Right, right. That's fine. I would say,

[00:33:20] It's a toss-up and I don't think you could go wrong either way. Can I ask you a question? And we're going, let me ask you this. And I'm not trying to, look, do you think that between those two, do you think that there's an equal amount of exposure

[00:33:37] with the, that the W gives them equally, or do you think there's a bias in the amount of exposure that one gets as opposed to the other? I think media lies there is a bias, which was very obvious. Which way? I think the bias is for Caitlyn,

[00:33:58] but I think that it's, I think it's obvious. It's more from a racial point of view. There are more fans that, that are paying that look like Caitlyn than they do, Angel. I think that even when she lost,

[00:34:21] Caitlyn, the media always make Caitlyn out to be the winner for, you know, sadly, to say. This is a good thing. Now, the reality is, way Caitlyn's a really angel plays, you cannot, they can't deny now or they have to get her to do. All right, let's go.

[00:34:41] Right. Because I think what is happening is people are, people are going to the games to see Angel, just as much as they are to those of Caitlyn now. I think that, you know, she's, you know, Angel has established herself. She's a superstar. Yeah, right, it's a rivalry.

[00:35:00] It's a rivalry because both are equally talented. Right, and it transition from college to the W. So that's what makes it better because it's a rivalry that's right. Literally transition from the collegiate level to the W. You know, to the W. So that's what makes it more interesting.

[00:35:16] So, if I, let me ask you this, would you smoke an unwrapped Cuban, Cohiba Maduro that was found in Bill Clinton's motel room for $100,000. $100,000. That's not even a deathlamer at all. He's smoking. It came out of Bill Clinton's motel room now. I listen, I'll take that $100,000. I know.

[00:35:48] You know, I know what, I know what Bill, I know what Bill did. I got to respect. All right, here's one for you. You elected president of the U.S., right? Let's see, God, are you smoking first to celebrate and what would your first executive order be?

[00:36:12] I'm a gross year. Okay. My first executive order? Yes. Ooh, that's a good one. Yes, I want to hit this. I'ma have it where, and I'm making an official holiday where black people actually do get off the invert because we've been doing it for free all this time.

[00:36:32] You might have done this. I love it. I love it. I love it. Like, people who say holiday. We need to put them up. Hey, we need to make that happen. That's right now. That's right now. I like that. Blue bag music segment. Name someone's smooth.

[00:36:47] We should check out on the music on music. Anybody, anybody we should check out anyone new? Somebody that you, that's... I don't really listen. You know, it's funny. I, you know, I'd try to listen to someone's music and not that it's not good or whatever

[00:37:08] but there's nobody that's grabbed me that keep on my attention. I'm right. I'm very, you know, Maxwell and... And then do, you know what I mean? Like, not as... Right. Nobody knew that's like, and grabbed my attention like that, you know.

[00:37:29] Yeah, I got a quick question for you. Yes. Who's your top female MC? My top female MC. If you gotta A and a B, that's fine. Warren? Oh yeah. And... You know, it was a young lady, Rapsody. I had been hearing about her. Rapsody's a name.

[00:37:52] Yeah, she's fire. And I, I caught her. It was not the documentary. The ladies first documentary. Right. On, I did was on Netflix. Right. And I'm hearing her. I'm like, you know, I've heard of her but I never heard anything from her. She's fire. She's in a movie.

[00:38:12] Right. So, did you see Lawrence recent performance? I tried to figure out, but I think she was like three days late. Yeah. Yeah. I'm sorry. I did. I did. I did. I did. I did. I did. I did. I did. I did. I did. I did. I did.

[00:38:39] I did. I did. I did. That was good. That was good. Okay, we got a turn twist to segment, right? Yes. I'm going to say this. And then I let you see it.

[00:38:54] I'm going to say it all the way through and then I get you to say it after me. All right. All right. One smart fellow fellow smart, two smart fellow fellow smart, three smart fellow fellow smart, four smart fellow smart, and they are a smart fellow smart together.

[00:39:10] I did. Smart, three people do your thing. Man. You don't want to try. One smart fellow fellow smart, just go two, three, one, one smart fellow fellow smart, two smart fellow fellow smart, two, three, three, three, three,

[00:39:39] smart fellow fellow smart, four, and they are a smart fellow smart fellow smart fellow smart. Four, four. Man, listen man. That was good. Thank you. Thank you for the. I mean, that is just a lie. You're going to do it. You're going to do it.

[00:39:56] You're going to do it. We have it. Okay. Edible, eat, segment. Describe your perfect meal and pair it with the perfect cigar. Oh. Wow. A nice. Big. No, a nice grilled salmon. A sparagas? Oh yeah. With candy and. And honey, go on. When are we having dinner, sir?

[00:40:37] Because that's my kind of, oh, I love that. You sound like you eat pretty healthy. I do. I do. I'm 15, I'm 53, I'm 54. I do. You know, I try to regularly exercise. I think COVID was the one time I just let it loose. Right.

[00:40:57] And my, I just got up there because we're eating out every day and not cooking and just things is crazy. And I think my youngest son. He was like, he'll daddy. And I said, okay, no more. All right. All right. That's what he's every day. So here's one.

[00:41:17] The brown versus Jordan, who you got? Who do you go? Put your on the spot. Yep. I'm the brown all day in this hard. I did. Oh. I got a fridge. So let me, let me explain, right? Yeah. I'm going to make it down.

[00:41:42] I'm in, I'm an extranj for life. I was, we was in college during the Jordan era. It was not a very good time for me. Thanks. Because I'm an extranj. All my friends that played basketball was from Chicago. You remember, a length of the most young Beyonce's. Right.

[00:42:04] Ed, Ed Jones, all in business from the top. Yeah. And it, it was, yeah. Yeah. So it was all the two p, three p, Jordan. They beat the next. It wasn't a very, wasn't a very mental health. You know, safe spot for me at that time.

[00:42:26] So I'm really, really, really, really, really. Brother Frederick, I have to ask you this, honey. So do, are you picking the brown because, because you just don't, because you don't like what Jordan did to the next?

[00:42:40] No. I'm picking, I'm picking, I'm picking the brown because I think he's had a longer, more consistent career than Jordan. Now, you could give Jordan, listen, I will give Jordan this six range. And that's not, that's 100%. No, that's, that's cannot be denied when he's done.

[00:43:04] And it, it could be argued that he have eight range to be different tire. Right. Thank you, sir. I was, so let me say this, let me make this point. My little nephew, he's nine years old. He made this stat yesterday. And I couldn't argue with him.

[00:43:18] He said that 40 year old, the brown is better than 40 year old Jordan. Yes. Yes. Could not argue with that. So that 16 year old, the brown was better than 16 year old Jordan. I agree with that. But for the fact that he said 40 year, he made that comparison.

[00:43:36] Then, I'm at 40. I couldn't argue with that. I could not, I could not argue with that. I mean, that's a good stat he is. A 40 year old Jordan, I mean, 40 year old, the brown made it still making his teammates better than Jordan was at that point. Absolutely.

[00:43:52] Jordan said that it was, he sucked that it was it. This is my take and I think what it is, is people, people knock Jordan, people knock LeBron who are only winning four titles and losing in the, and losing in the final six times.

[00:44:08] The man took his teams to separate teams to the final nine straight years. Yes. Yeah. You could not, that's not, you could not. Even if he said it was an alluding effort overall. Yeah. They, most teams or most individuals soccer from burnout or they get, they get happy.

[00:44:32] Like, yo, we made it to the final. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Right. This man made, he, I mean, he got, when he got that team with Cleveland the third time against San Antonio. That is, that in itself is memorable. Right. He got past, when he got past Detroit. Yeah.

[00:44:52] I mean, listen, again. And as he's consistent, you could argue he still wanted to top 10 players in the league. 10 to top 15. And that's a, and that's insane. It is. To have to say that, that a 40 plus year old can out 40.

[00:45:10] Well, you know, that's played with maybe half of the player's father. Wow. He's older than some of the coaches of the team. Oh, I know. When he found that, I just dropped his head. He was like, oh, I didn't mean it. Redic, isn't he? Yes. I mean, yes.

[00:45:27] Like, you think about the most of the, a lot of those players that, the few of those players that's on his team, he played in the same area as their father. Wow. I mean, that cannot be. Not, I cannot be. You know, chain, my goal now.

[00:45:42] You're, you're like a bit like me for the brum, but you ain't your chain, my goal. I can't get my goal. Sorry, not sorry. This is where we call you out. I thought you out. Do whatever you call you out. What is the nastiest cigar you've ever tasted?

[00:45:56] Oh. One of them grabbed me? Yeah. Man. I, I don't know. Nasty, so gone. Is that hard for you? Some team. Well, something cheap. Right. I got a, I just, oh my god. That's a good one, man.

[00:46:34] It must have been early on because nothing comes to mind that I, I noted this certain ones that I'm not, I'm not the greatest coaching player. Okay. Okay. Okay. So if you don't pick one of it? Well, it wasn't nasty. It just doesn't, it doesn't grab me.

[00:46:51] It doesn't keep my attention. That's good enough. That's good enough. So you, you spoke earlier about, you know, being an avid, a smoker, cigar smoker, you know, you talking about working out. You exercise. How many times do you work out a week? Tell us about your exercise routine?

[00:47:04] Two to three. Two to three week. What do you do? Wait. So what do you do? I do wait for a little cardio. I maybe should do a little more cardio but, you know, I do mostly, you know,

[00:47:17] the most things kettle, kettlebells are going along all which is really fun. Yes. No, we see it. Are we seeing any improvements in the, you know, you know, you know, because you're son of talk about the stomach. So we see it going down a little bit.

[00:47:32] You can see that in the morning before I eat breakfast. I get a no. And a life moment segment described to us when you met your wife. My, I was funny because it was in, it was Christmas Eve of 90's. We're mown Jones.

[00:47:53] I was picking up a mown Jones because he would say, Christmas. And I was meeting him at Port Authority and I saw my wife who, that she wasn't my wife at the time. But I saw her and I, you know, stopped and we thought it's all in.

[00:48:10] And she ran down the licking of questions. You married. You got a boyfriend, you got kids. You got a job. And I go, what am I like? What is this? Winners law and order? We spoke, you know, I called it the next day.

[00:48:27] Just to see if the phone number was correct. You know, I was like, hey, you know, Merry Christmas. Whatever, you know, because you know, you should do that women to give you that wrong number. Some like that. Hi. Hi. Thanks. Yeah.

[00:48:40] I just want to wish a happy birth and no Merry Christmas or another. Okay, so legit. And we, um, we went out the next week and we just continue to think together. And, uh, three is way five years later, I'm married her. We've been, this will be 22 years.

[00:48:56] That's the name. Congratulations. All right. This, this, I go to, I, I order your travel case, right? Call your fish and I don't know. You, what for Mount Rushmoreshire guards? I get I pack my new case with. I'm going to, I'm speaking about them.

[00:49:15] I better, I'm hoping to get a phone call from them for all the, you know, they go, they're just going to write, right? Uh, me, spy Oscar. Okay. Lies of romance. No, no, no, no. League of Provada. All right. Give me one more. The liars. Wow. Okay. Okay.

[00:49:41] All right. I love it. High school segment. Who was the sexiest teacher you had in high school? In high school? Yes. I didn't have any really good looking teachers in high school. Me neither. I wasn't elementary school. I had one in elementary school. Yeah, they were elementary.

[00:50:01] Yeah, I still remember. I had one in middle school, Miss Nettles. Miss Nettles? Yeah. My husband's molder on freckles, boy. She had freckles too. Miss Nettles. Strong. In elementary, we had Miss Barnes. Miss Barnes was born. Miss Barnes had the muscle.

[00:50:19] She came, you know, remember, much from an age. Yeah. Oh, wow. Miss Barnes recalled. She got a, she had a boyfriend. Got out to call. Every young kid would see it. She would get up to call. She had the high black with them black tankal boots.

[00:50:37] They were brown. That is, this is over 40 years ago. You understand that I'm remembering that. I was not my detail. Is it macular? Macular. And she would get out. And it was like, Tom stopped. Oh, wow. All right. So in keeping with that, here's all things.

[00:50:59] Monica McNett segment. All right. All right. You, he's, he's, he's a scenario. You, some of your friends in Monica McNett. Y'all playing a game with Truce Adair. All right. Here's your turn. You asked Monica. You say, true, sadair. And she immediately responded to say, It's a dare.

[00:51:17] What is going to be your dare for Monica McNett? But y'all trying to give me punch to my face. Come on, come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. Easy. Come on.

[00:51:39] Why are you saying that? I like that. You mean what do you mean? You're talking to someone who's not in a good position, you're talking to other people. Like someone who's not in a good position. What you mean? You're trying to make a comeback to the WNVAT. Okay.

[00:51:54] That was good. It was an. What happened? I got it. I got it. I got it. What? You're trying to make a comeback to the WNVAT. I'm trying to make a comeback to the WNVAT. Okay, that's good. I like that. Well, what would your dad be coach?

[00:52:10] See how you do it? He's coming on there. I tell you what, you know what my dad will be? I would dare hurt a script naked. That's what my dad would be. That can't be argued. I mean, that's not that's a...

[00:52:26] Okay. Hey, I'm doing a lot of things. I'm like, touch your butt, I'm just saying. I'm just gonna say, me and I are going to the back room. Oh, see, he is watching my, at least I got a script naked in this thing, man.

[00:52:37] You got a script naked. I guarantee you mine is, I've, I've, dreaded you day like mine. I'm just saying, respectfully. Respect, respect. You can ask any female about her favorite R&B singer or, you know what I mean?

[00:52:57] And that's, come on, the day it would be, I dare you. I want to see. Right. It might be, it's like, why on is the most recent example of this? I'm just gonna say. Yeah. So, I'm being honest. Thanks. Pepeves as a mixed fan.

[00:53:15] And I'm a mixed fan also. What pisses you off about being a fan of a New York mix? I was saying that it took this long to get it right. They have been so in that and finding a really good coach,

[00:53:36] a good GM, that the owner being on the same page. I think the, I think everything really went south when they got on L.O. when they did, when they could have waited for the season to end, get him during the summer when you weren't giving up everything.

[00:53:57] Getting Phil Jackson at the GM when he did nothing. And just getting coaches that really, either didn't know what they do or just picking really horrible players because they were just picking players. I think it was a chance they could have had.

[00:54:20] They picked Frank Melokanena, so whatever his name was, over the chance to get Cleat Thompson at that year. Oh no, they had a chance to get in Donovan Mitchell and they picked another player? Yeah, I have a history of that. Wow. Yeah. I think, I think,

[00:54:44] Chips are really good coach. He's got players that are Chips players. And I think one thing they should definitely not do is trying to get rid of Randall. Randall is that dude. You can't just gotta say, you know what I mean? You like Randall. I love Randall.

[00:55:04] You know he just has to make, I think what it is is it took him the first year with Bronson. It was like who's number one, who's number two? I think Randall has to accept that. Bronson is number one but he can make.

[00:55:18] He could make Randall feel like he's the number one. That's interesting. That makes sense. That doesn't make sense. It's interesting that you say that. I got one for you as the GM of the giants, new your giants. You got the next pick in NFL draft,

[00:55:36] which quarterback are you drafting? This is going to be interesting. Payton Manning or Eli Manning? Hey, this is not even a question. Eli, but Eli did the Patriot's dirty. He won your two Super Bowls. He did the Patriot's dirty. What? Eli did that. Come on.

[00:55:54] Eli didn't do that. So defense and that, that, that thank God, the miracle once in a lifetime test by Tiree did it. Now he did, he did he, Plexico Burris in the back of his own now, but that the game went on. That is full.

[00:56:12] If I had to, so you got to do that to think like straight from a point of this is the thing. There's no question. Payton Manning. It's, it's peeing. No, no, no question there. Okay. If I was active, anything, if I could do anything right now,

[00:56:27] if I were the giants, I would try and get, I would trade for just some fields. I would try and get rid of Daniel Don't. And try and get something to look like this. Wow. Now, from your piece for steel, I know. Yeah, no, I'm still.

[00:56:45] I would be good. They're doing a real on the guy. Daniel Don't. Yeah, he's not to go. The giants are going to realize they made the biggest mistake in their lives. And Boot and when they, when they, when they, when they rid of the big one,

[00:56:58] Boot and then your Joe's when they drafted them, do. Getting rid of fake one was a worse than the invested in Daniel Jones and got rid of fake one. Yeah. Anyway, two thumbs up segment. What movie have you watched too many times? Friday there. Friday there.

[00:57:18] The first one? The first one. Fire. Yeah, the best. And I love it. And I can love it. Get me on my phone. I'm a happy sofa. I'm a happy sofa. I'm a happy sofa. If you constantly say my pocket. Okay, you're running real well.

[00:57:38] You go send someone more time. I'll be answering your real quick. We're quiet. Baby. You are one. I've been muddled. I've got a lot of stuff. Shut up. I love it. We're gonna get you out of here. This is the last question.

[00:57:57] All right, this is what if segment? What if Iron Man fought Thor? Who you got winning? Thor, no question of that. My dude is Iron Man. I'm just saying, I have my favorite character is Iron Man. I'm rocking with Tony Brown. I know Tony Brown does with that.

[00:58:13] All he has to do is get a grip. Get a grip at an iron. It's over with. And that's over with. That's over with. Yeah, yeah. They did fight, though. Remember? Yeah. In the first in that little brawl and you're in Loki broke it up by yeah.

[00:58:26] No Captain America did. That was Captain America. But they always had beefed. Okay, okay. I'm... You want me to put the hammer down? I don't know. I love it. I love it. So you are Marvel-fair. I'm Marvel-A-D. But I'm more... I'm more Marvel. Okay, right.

[00:58:46] All right, what's your favorite Marvel? I gotta ask you that. Favorite one. I gotta say overall Thor. But T-E was always like, Thor was that dude. Like he was like, you know what I'm got? Yeah, I'm a god. Right. There you go. You know what I mean?

[00:58:59] Like Thor. But Hannah. I'm hooked to the show in the Avengers. Hope took over the... Yeah. In the Avengers. He's the dude. When he took over. Hope did. Yeah. He showed it out. Especially when he said I'm always... He was like, uh, that's the thing. I'm always angry.

[00:59:14] They hooked on his hands. Yeah. Oh, that's a fun thing. Another level. He is. What? Thor empowerment. Okay. I would have been a... I would have been a... Cowaman, uh... Luke Cage fan. And... Wow. When we had the TV show, I loved it. Wow.

[00:59:32] I was like, you know, they were really... Did you guys see it? No, I saw it. It's on Netflix, right? Do you want to Netflix? No, it's not Disney. I didn't see that. No, Luke Cage is on Netflix. Yeah, you used to be a... Oh, I wanted to...

[00:59:45] Okay, I'm not gonna do it all Disney. I can get it. It's like... It's like... Wow. Okay. Okay. We watched. I think we watched one season of Luke Cage. I watched it all the time. Right, right. Right. It was interesting. Yeah. It was interesting. Mr. Frederick Brown is...

[00:59:58] Ooh! Ooh! Oh, yeah. SIGAR, FISHION OUT OF LISTED. Is there anything that you want to say to the people? I want to say thank you first of all. Thank you to you guys. I really appreciate it. Man, I mean, I've had so much fun.

[01:00:12] Again, like I said before, man, it was really good reconnecting with Lance and... Let me give you a little second thing of both how nice this dude is. Wow. When I was... I was visiting my girlfriend at the time at campus

[01:00:28] and I was walking along and I had asked, I said, hey, where's the gym? He put his right over there. And I said, well, thanks. And he was like, go on, Lance. I said, hey, he's doing it. I'm Frederick. Nice to meet you.

[01:00:40] He didn't have to do that. You know what I mean? And I was just like, no, okay. And I saw the two times in campus and such. And to reconnect 30, some ideas later, it's a great thing. And I just really don't know what to do.

[01:00:55] That's a show of black men! Coach, oh man! Coach, oh, you have to show black men. So what you got, you got anything coming up with you? What you see, guard, what you're... A company with your business, anything coming up, you got any of this? I have...

[01:01:08] I'm doing a pop-up shop on Harlow Week in a... Or just... We can have August 18. I'll be at the Harlem Sanctuary. Okay. At 25, 42 Frederick Douglass Boulevard. Wow. So it is. And by the way, there's come one out. It's a great...

[01:01:28] Well, the best one of my favorites of all lounges. We'll be outside. I'll have my stuff and just, you know, we're having a good time. Otherwise, you know, I'm just... I'm just smoking and enjoying the summer. Nice! That's in gentleman's has been Mr. Frederick Vard.

[01:01:45] We're going to have you all. Thank you guys, I really appreciate it. Thank you for your time. Yes, so take care of a good day. You take care. How about going? I'll go go go go go. No doubt. Just don't do. Yes, yes, nice, huh?

[01:01:59] That was good stuff. That was dear, dude. That was fun. I had a good time with my head all the way. He's very interesting, very interesting. He's very diverse as he was like... He's comical, serious to the point, like very detail. And you know what?

[01:02:19] He liked a lot of the questions. I like when people were like, that makes you want to ask the question, like, pull somebody there and they give it to you too. They give it to you. Man, listen, hey, this has been on an out-field

[01:02:33] sports podcasting with a purpose. It's been your own field coach. Rest assured, this is your point. Coach Bawson, aka a special nation since 1976. Ah, and this is the infamous. The infamous Mr. Ubeda L. aka Mr. Coach Rebek, aka Mr. Football, and Noah Dahl.

[01:02:48] This has been episode number 13, and we out.
