[00:00:05] Alright, what's good man listen. I want to get some off my chest. Get it off your chest. You know, we got pet peeves right? We do a pet peeve thing. I want to get this off my chest up. I heard somebody say the other

[00:00:26] day they said that phrase when we humanize people we lose respect for them. We no longer see them the same before we humanize them. The problem I got with that is that what Erksmeen is

[00:00:47] that you say you humanize people. We're human. So you mean to tell me you're basically saying when I realized that you weren't God, I got mad because I made you God. Well that's their fault.

[00:01:01] That makes me mad. When somebody first puts you somewhere that day won't you to be? You didn't make them and then when you when they when you showed them that you're human. Quarter quarter, not as humanizing

[00:01:16] you now they have no respect for you. When they come to realize that you're just like them. Well, when are we out of the I'm just like you said seeing you get mad because I'm not super

[00:01:31] Superman. But that comes with the territory when you put yourself out there. You right? And you know what don't do let me say this. I prosper agree. Sometimes people do it anyway they don't they the person

[00:01:46] that won't know what they can't do it if you're not out there. Well in life, in life it that happens it's not the person's fault all the time. I think it's like I say that bothers me. Because I'm

[00:01:57] like I'm I mean tell me how it's like as a pastor. A leader leader yes just a leader across this spectrum as a leader. There are I guess there you know people that think that you're supposed to

[00:02:09] have a certain behavior certain way of doing a certain thing but you know they at the real action is the call duty you know to be active. Right serve right to what are you doing

[00:02:23] exactly what are you bringing God God God faces you today and says what did you do to what did you do today to serve me? Right what have you done in the past week exactly that's what counts yeah

[00:02:36] and those those questions have to be asked first exactly because the other stuff is calm it's like what they call a math the math problem the common denominator right all have them

[00:02:46] they all have them it's human issues. It is doing but my thing is even in serving and I've served as a pastor still do I go down the metro which I'm going today right and doing that and in

[00:02:57] me doing that I try to maintain weakness and humility and until these guys hate I'm not the one that's gonna save you I'm just telling you about him. You're a vessel right yeah so in turn most people

[00:03:09] they don't know how to I guess understand a grass that concept because they think they're looking for functional savior they're looking for somebody tangible and when you don't and when you're not that they're disappointed thinking your Jesus Christ there you go that's my point coach and I'm

[00:03:29] vessel I'm just a vessel that's it but you're not Jesus exactly not perfect that is want to get that off my chest brother and until all leaders whether you are pastor or father or

[00:03:41] whatever you are you know to me maintain humility and you can help it when people put you where you never asked to be well you put yourself out there so that's the one thing yeah that's

[00:03:53] your favor obviously right for people to be able to do that you gotta be able to be doing something exactly you gotta be doing so so like you said what what is what do we do for God or if you

[00:11:54] that's part of the we had on the team to watch right you know then I think we got a lot of those guys we had whatever we didn't work playing where they should have played and they were using

[00:12:06] I just felt like it was more marketing than really using look Joe that guy that she is you know I got to ask this question right now I got to ask you this can there be honest you know his that kid is that is that is that

[00:14:54] So you're from. You're from. So you're from Louisiana. So where do you go to hospital? In Louisiana. Ground in at the time, my high school is going to stay university lab at the school. It's actually on the eight school year 10th of the University of University. Okay.

[00:15:12] So yeah, even the measure of the standard will be a high school all the way around. Wow. On the eight school year. That's why you know, so you was getting the college life and high school kid.

[00:15:27] And I have to keep hearing that left there with the college in Wall of this is I've been busy. I haven't had a nice life. Let me ask you the same. Let me ask you this. What is your best memory from high school? Wow. Let's talk about head.

[00:15:46] So many. Like good and bad. Mm. It's okay. Hold up. Hold the right side next question. Okay. So I have a one summer. I want an 80 championship. That's actually this one that was only one. That's just a picture represented.

[00:16:08] And you both speak against it all the places you've been at the 80. Yeah, I want to say you've been to it and that's in Germany. It's a team. And then like that's what it's called for my, you know, that's all I'm there. Of course, I was great.

[00:16:23] I was actually a bit worried about high school kids. So that's probably what that someone just told me on my side more of your spot is this. We even though we've been in 16 and number one nationally. I mean, with the 17 and number we got four.

[00:16:39] But I'm not actually, you know, got like Chris, we're in the core of the team. So I got to tell you this really is not. I said that I had a line. I was going to see it. Okay.

[00:16:50] So what that's just what was one of the dumbest things you did in the high school. I was doing a lot of things. But I was my most young man when I was there. I had a lot of anger. I was living there.

[00:17:06] It was done by the situation my junior year. Okay. It really could have like. It could have been bad. Like it was on that level. The Alinaric in the hectic. Oh, wow. I think that is good school. You know, someone I was about to write.

[00:17:24] I was thinking now more. So there's like you, you know, you're saying something. Some of the things going to do. The same thing. Some side of the best number of ways. So that's interesting. Wow. My role. My role. And so it's not a little thing.

[00:17:44] You think that's a great thing. Right. And really, like I got it. I know we. That we're not always. I have to take a conference. But I really think you did a lot for me. Because I had to say that I still didn't have some issues.

[00:18:00] It just had to be worse. Like I had to do it. That I felt like I had to be. Whatever I had to be in time. I was okay to walk away from nothing. I was okay to not even get part of my life.

[00:18:13] I was going back to the HDC environment. In the audience. You know, they need to go this part of that party. So okay, so I had to have that a teacher. I never said from being right. I can walk away from that.

[00:18:24] But it's easy to get wrapped up in that though. It is. Yeah. It's very, especially to say it. So like I said, we're being a guy that's known. We're a little bit kind of human. I've been in this apartment since eight years. I was too great.

[00:18:38] The issue is the ladies and the kids. I mean. I mean, good life for the old. You know what we're going to say. Why did you choose to? Why did you choose to? Well, it's also the other part. The incident like when that incident happened.

[00:19:00] Then they got off to the coast. A lot of schools back down before they got off. I was thinking, you need some advice from dad trying to build. I think that's the thing. I'm defending my 30s almost calls for them. Okay. That's right. A long story short.

[00:19:15] I'm making my list from school. They're hanging there. They knew it kind of key. I was always been on the road. They had to. That's my only incident running into law. So the things that really stood by me. Those were the things that had like my top five.

[00:19:31] I was doing it for the minutes of health. Oh, right. Both black coaches both started playing the nearer kind of what we did at high school. Right. So my thing was I like to do so much with all of this on two my life.

[00:19:45] You know, I know that from closest to no actually slip the corners. That also had to be with both of them. I just felt like I'm going to say to dad. So yeah, the flip of corn. I had to flip the corn. Wow.

[00:19:58] Actually, I thought I could have known the clip a year. That's what I was doing. I actually wanted to stand on my office of business. Oh, right now you got one more taking off. You know, we all want to rush somebody.

[00:20:16] Now let the guys and the kids deal. They're kind of a matter of being a big and very good. Right. So I'm going to want to be a big. Now I think you guys will be a big one of the new order. Wow.

[00:20:29] I mean, I'm busy in the middle of the, you know, in the graduation. Wow. Oh, my goodness. So tell me, tell us about the FSU shot and the rest of that night. You remember the FSU that tell us about that man.

[00:20:49] He's crazy because everybody feels like this shot. And then it was something that man is going on. He's going to be a for a long time. I actually was an espionage for the shot. Wow. That's a tough thing. That's a tough thing.

[00:21:02] You're kind of like quick, but you're going to get more. Yeah. Yeah. It was funny that it was getting money. We have to get. So because we have to get him. We decided with the state. We got to go party. No. No. Let me.

[00:21:21] Let me finish telling the internet story. I missed a shot. So I didn't see it because I was in study hall getting everything ready. Right. The season was getting ready to, they were getting ready to travel. Right.

[00:21:36] And we had, you know, grades was coming out and it was either. You eligible or not eligible. It was either or situation. Right. Coach, we got a study hall. We got to have we had tutors and all sorts of people that were there to help. Right.

[00:21:50] To get everything situated. He didn't. They went and made that shot. An espionage. Came to study hall. To five, six in a morning. What? We stay all night. We're going to have to go and walk. That's what you call this. Straight to the front. Straight to study hall.

[00:22:07] Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? You want to have a car. Let's walk. It was a difficult spot. I believe straight to the back. Yeah. I feel to go straight to study hall. I feel to go straight to study hall.

[00:22:35] It was a new one. It was funny. I'm hoping that those guys, I'll play with old scenes. Oh, really? It's not going to be a big issue. Wow. We're going to need it right because they saw all the lines of the ball.

[00:23:18] It's been the hall of pain. Coach, still a good team, man. He couldn't say, you know, I was like, I said, one of them, he's been up for me. I can do all this man. Mm-hmm. You know, feel like the girls on my shoulder do something.

[00:23:30] That we're a lot of anger and stuff like that with our, you know, young child that had my third child in 19. Right. I just, all of them, especially Coach J. Smith, that's my, it was mad. When we coach, we'll have to coach him.

[00:23:45] He's made me feel, yes, that's my, he's been here with and the family for the, he's been battling the town and getting to know the guys this. My hair's been here. It's like, you know, like, you know, like, the world was on my shoulder. Like you know, right?

[00:24:02] You feel like, man, I'm going anywhere. That's where we're going. Right. And you say you, the reality that you might have a good team. But there's so much more debt on team. That's not all about your five. This is about to. You saw saying, you say,

[00:24:20] you say, you said, you're going to put out five. I said, we're some of the big things that they've got to. They probably has a money in five trouble. Then by these hurts, we'll have to go back with it.

[00:24:31] And I really feel like because we had a lot of young guys that played here It was hard to retrieve after that class. We had four sessions in the same room. But those of you all played on this part of our team, every year we were there.

[00:24:45] Right. This myself. We saw that on Corey Child's Creek Prison. And I'll play the Major part. So it was hard to do guys to come in. You had a freshman that I already did before which we were. They just felt like they weren't allowed to play. OK. Good.

[00:25:02] Hey, my daughter Mary's Nernuck at Fun Fact. Juret was drafted in the second round with a 38th overall pick by the Milwaukee Bucks. Wow. Got it? Yeah. Tell them. All right. Where were you when the segment? This is where were you segment? All right.

[00:25:20] We have to get handclubs for this. All right. Where were you when you were drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks and described the feeling? You're going to be alert. I actually never looked before. Right. Right. No. I always felt that there's been a lot of repeat.

[00:25:44] I definitely thought I'd say the minute first round. But when I didn't go on the first round, I was just like, man, what did you have on the last few? You've got nothing to do with your pop-miles. It's like, you know my life.

[00:25:56] You have to see that like. You've got nothing to do with your pop-miles. You've got nothing to do with your pop-miles. You've got nothing to do with your pop-miles. I was going to see that people were going to like, it's always a blessing to be drafted. Right.

[00:26:09] But that's the guarantee. I only think you'd get a team to first round. But when you grab an ungrasses, you can say around. It's all about you still have to make the team. Right. I'm like, now go and I come in. And I've got to make the house.

[00:26:22] They had game even moves that, you know, no idea you're taking a pill from them. I'll throw them in a dick. That's why I still so find this draft. I mean, you take my phone with my dad's battery.

[00:26:33] So I walk you drive and they end up calling me a week off. And I just once I talked to the coaches, and I had a great, I had a great workout of my walk. And they always said, because then we're trying to have a treat

[00:26:44] that he used to have three. They're two in the first round or one. And to begin another set, now we felt like, you know, being in the lead and the kid. I thought it was a treat. They would have been the dream from truth. Right.

[00:26:58] And when they got to ride the road, we were happy to be there. And not like the minus here on the work, yeah. So I'm going to be there as I know I'd be there. And that's the one thing I want to say. We'll see you around.

[00:27:09] We're going to take you around. We're going to take out the round and a lot of paths. So we had, at least some of the lead in the time. I was on the fair, I said, now I was telling them. On the other, the paths and the people.

[00:27:24] And those were really clear. So yeah, I was. And that was well the roughest. And I said, the goal from being projected, ladder repeat. The fall of that lead in the set is going to have a son and a little bit of it. I'm getting it.

[00:27:40] Like, yeah, it's part of the relationship. You're looking tired and you're going to be back. That's right. This next segment is called Coming Out of the Tunnel. It started actually by Eurek when you were in real my dad. Right. Take us in the locker room before,

[00:27:56] against a game against a big time opponent. How do you feel? Like, what was the game that you got yourself really psyched up for? I don't know. Most times it's game I got it. Part of it was Louisville and Louisville, my children. But my, okay.

[00:28:17] And to prepare the name because there's going to be a laugh opportunity for you in Louisville. And so I wanted to make sure they are placed in my prison years off. I want to make sure I never went into arena. Instead, I never wanted to.

[00:28:35] I've only played that. I would be there with Louisville. I think it's mad in. And then we could do the moves for a very time. I thought, because we had to lose two games and we'd pay them. They were both a beauty game. You know, the be there.

[00:28:49] And battle right in one place with time and game like that. But you're probably between them or the bad for my friend. Okay. I kind of, like Coach Oversan, I kind of picture, even when we interview McKinley Boston his dad,

[00:29:09] I just picture the hype of him coming out of the tunnel like, like Coach Oversan, you. And like I see nowadays, you know, the, we got media and more cameras now. You know, they're in the back and you know, behind the scenes.

[00:29:20] And I could see like when the players come out of the locker room and come down the hallway, you can see sometimes the liberties are around. You know, you see celebrities every night and come to these college games or, you know, these professional games. That kind of atmosphere.

[00:29:33] So I kind of picture that, you know, as a fan that that could be kind of hype. And new old, I mean, I hung the rear of me and stole me. So I was caught in there at the time.

[00:29:45] We played, you know, it was kind of like, I had to be, I had to come up with that. Wow. You guys are talking about that. No, no, no. Yeah. Like I got to do stuff to come out.

[00:29:57] So we go on the road and the fans were like, I always thought I played better on the road because I figured out the right of the right and with them talking, or the Chinese, you know, do stuff to get up and gain it.

[00:30:10] Like I'm afraid they're more than being at home because I just, when they cry to hate you so pump that home, they use this stuff. Right. Right. So I think one turn is a little bit home. And that. You know, well, I just thought of this too.

[00:30:28] You all got the right to the gentleman. You try to do something. You know, you're part of two of these people. You know, right. That's the thing. Right. So you all got all the, I was like, I got all the, I was like, I'm about to go. Right.

[00:30:42] Right. We played some of the guys. A lot of people don't know this as a friend. I played every piece of the lottery. It felt amazing. Wow. It's been like, well, you go back and look at the lottery. But they're here for the job in 94.

[00:31:00] So many, very, very, very, very few. They've come and a lot of people don't know that themselves will be a lot of people. Right. I was wise as to, they didn't grow into you. Wow. Yeah. A man, a married, they should see.

[00:31:15] I mean, you think about how some tiny can see the, again. Yeah. Yeah. We had a, and now it's one of another reasons that I had two, and so high because the strength of schedule was out of this world.

[00:31:27] That's why people are going to pick schools for the more we can go to kind of shoes they wear. Right. When they locate it, I have one of the most accomplices that we will play in. And I'm going to be the beginning of the day. Right.

[00:31:42] You can play in another TV game to get the right competition. You get the showcase, which is granted the same. And the more teams that succeed, of course, the more you want to be on people's radar for people to make good. Right.

[00:31:55] So listen, this is taking us to travel through your eyes. Let us take us somewhere through your eyes. Tell the listeners a memorable destination that basketball is taking you. Somewhere that you just, you know, take us down. Wow. Oh, I've been blessed.
