Ode to the ladies:
“I never paid attention to the affairs of the world.
It was your face that made them so beautiful in my eyes.”
This is from a Persian Poet Hafez, who trying to say that the things of this world are not worth much attention. It is the light of God that shines upon them and makes them look beautiful in his eyes.
