One share. One conversation. One person could change a life.
When Elvin Jamal Williamson joined us on On and Off da Field, he shared something much bigger than a story.
He shared a need.
Jamal needs a kidney transplant and is currently searching for a living kidney donor.
We believe community means showing up for people when it matters most. So we’re using our platform to help Jamal’s story reach as many people as possible.
Maybe you can donate.
Maybe you can’t.
But maybe you know someone who can.
COULD YOU BE A LIVING KIDNEY DONOR?
You do not have to know whether you are a match before taking the first step.
Potential living donors are evaluated by qualified medical professionals through the transplant program. The medical team determines whether donation is safe and appropriate for the potential donor and whether that person may be compatible with Jamal.

WHAT IF I’M NOT A MATCH?
You may still be able to help.
Sometimes a person wants to donate a kidney to a particular recipient but learns that the two are not medically compatible.
That doesn’t always end the journey.
Through kidney paired donation, an incompatible donor and recipient may be matched with another donor-recipient pair, allowing compatible transplants to take place.
The transplant team can explain whether paired donation could be an option.
CAN’T DONATE? YOU CAN STILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
You don’t have to donate a kidney to help Jamal.
